((This one's going to be VERY long since I isolated Michael and worked out a scene I liked. Figure it's late right now so I'll get the whole thing out of the way rather than chop it up.))
"Sir, its going to hell real fast here. Looks like things aren't following your plans. We have Chronicles pouring in to help us but it doesn't look we'll be taking Redfield or just pressuring the HQ," came a sound from a beaten radio.
"Hey, remember, all the other team leaders are in command over me. Just follow their lead," Michael replied. Several plasma bolts started whizzing by in the dark tunnel. "Actually, anyone you can send down here would be appreciated."
Michael's team beat their way through the subway system in a hail of fire. Eventually they reached their stop, JFK airport, the perfect home for the vertibird fleet. The resident Enclave seemed more than ready, if undermanned defending their headquarters. Workers were already scrambling around preparing the great machines for takeoff. One of Michael's Lieutenants called out," Hit those workers. Slow 'em down while the saboteurs get the bombs rigged." Michael was nothing if not mentally prepared to take the field. He'd stolen an Enclave soldier's plasma rifle and some of their grenades. Among the Enclave and the stolen rifle blasts, the lines of battle became blurred. Rushing through the crowd, the saboteur team, including Michael, smashed through the Enclave forces. Every last man was determined to see the Enclave removed come hell or high water.
"Charges prepped. Clear out!" A series of explosions shook the field as the first sets of vertibirds were wiped off the field. Michael couldn't decide whether to be excited or frightened amongst the rain of metal. "Alright move fast and keep rolling." While getting ready to prime another set of birds, one of the saboteurs was blown away as a plasma bolt set of his charge. Michael was knocked to the ground from the blast and he felt something crash onto his leg, then, darkness, and nothing.
Somewhere in the darkness, there was voice, one Michael hadn't heard in so many years. "Michael...Michael!"
Michael groaned," Hey...looks like I finally get to see you again."
"Don't say that. You know this isn't the end"
"What, I don't even know what's happened and I can't continue any more. All I can do is give up. I'm done."
"Michael, you don't remember much. You're not done until you're truly done. And did I give up, no and you can't either. Get up and finish your job."
"I guess there is reason I liked you." Once again, there was light as Michael awoke.
"Sir, get up we can't keep up the attack. You're injured and we're about to be destroyed."
"uhh...Do we have any charges left?"
"Yes, but the birds are already getting airborne, we can't use them."
Michael looked up and h saw the rotors fire and lift the birds slowly. "Take a charge and throw it at that bird. Don't ask questions just do it." Michael readied his shotgun as the soldier obey and volleyed the charge right at the rotor. To quick blasts and a fireball. Michael had managed to get a clean shot off on the charge and knock out one of its engines. The wounded bird spiraled out of control and knock another bird out of the air. As they crashed their mini nukes detonated and destabilized the rest of the vertibird assault wing. Michael could feel the heat and barely saw the parts crash around him Enclave near the birds torn to pieces. Once again he blacked out and he heard the same voice," Don't even pretend like you can quit now."
"I don't want you to leave again."
"Oh, I'll be around. Don't worry."
"Still love me?"
"Of course."
"Good to hear."
((yeah very long. but now I finally got to end the story for Michael. still a tid bit left in him))
