Does anybody happen to know how many maps will be in Brink come its launch? (I'm pretty sure this question has been answered already, though...my search function keeps timing out my internet browser). An answer to my question would be liked and/or a link to the official list of Brink's maps would be highly appreciated.

Theres about 16 missions.You play each map twice.So theres 8 maps.
Container city
Shipyard
aeroport
aquarium
reactor
Sec Tower
Founders tower
Then I dont remember the last one

I assume it's 16 because Security plays on all of them once (8), and so does Resistance (8)?

Exactly as you play each map twice on both side.
Note:I believe that when you finish the first mission of the map,you unlock another area in the map like in BBC(Battlefield bad company)

I'm just guessing here, but I thought it was a day and night version of each map. Not to mention the the different look of the map from each teams sides of the map.

8 maps and 2 extra What-if maps. So total of 10 maps on release.

I'm just guessing here, but I thought it was a day and night version of each map. Not to mention the the different look of the map from each teams sides of the map.

Nope, there are some day missions, some night missions and that's fixed. You can't choose to play container city day or night; its always day. The prison is always night.

The same map. We always thought it was the Founder's tower, but apparently it's the Security's.

Damn I hoping for a fight in the Founders quarters and if your playing on the security side you have to rescue them.Ah well.

Can someone explain to me the "What-if" missions? also yeah day and night are set, 8 maps have been confirmed. You choose a faction (single player offline) and you play a map, from vids it seems each one has a timer of around 20 minuts. (if their is a tiemr in offline...) and when you switch to the other faction (if you do) you play their side of teh mission on the map. Can someone please add a multiplayer description?
