Ok, the maps are big, but...

Are them filled enough? i mean, in past ES games we could encounter lots of Thieves camps, hunter camps, mines, towers, casltes... not mentioning the random encounters with Bandits and other fun npcs , ( Mallik the Liar, Old Orc)

For the ones who went higher lvls, what you say? (avoiding NDA of course)

Without going into specifics, there was never a lack of something to do while leveling

I distinctly remember a lot of running around in Oblivion without coming across much at all. So not like that :)

What about Quests ppl? do they have alternative paths??? Consequences??? I remember doing a quest in Imperial City about a corrupted guard, he went into trial, got jailed... then some weeks, i woke at night with him trying to kill me hahaha, that was awesome.

It may depend on where you run, I suppose. I just started a new game of it the other day (I've never actually beat/finished that one) and running from the Jaufre dude to the first Oblivion gate, there was absolutely nothing in between. And it isn't exactly a short distance either. Later when running south to Lawyin (spelling?) I encountered the occasional bandit, otherwise nothing as well.

Skyrim was better, but I think the random encounters made it feel more active than it actually was. And actually that game did a really good job of presenting illusions. Like when you go up the steps to the greybeards and actually feels like you are going up a huge mountain. Then sliding down on the opposite side for a shortcut back to Whiterun and BAM within a couple seconds you've literally transported yourself back to where you started. The distance not being as far as the game makes it feel.

ANYWAY, let's just say I think TESO doesn't disappoint.

This feeling of vast open space is felt among the testers that have been playing the past week. Cyrodiil is reported to be the same size as Oblivion. That takes 30-45 minutes to trek across. A long hall for some that fall in the war campaign. This will all fill up when the game is released.
