The Marshall is great for beginners who have no accuracy when shooting and need to shoot once, get a hit marker and then melee to get kills. It's probably the biggest noob weapon other than the L-Tag, I mean seriously turn on Energy Transfer and it's ridiculously over powered. It's definitely the favorite of players who either choose not to try shooting or simply can't shoot the broad side of a barn. I enjoyed using it when I airstomped, because if I would get screwed by the Cry Engine air stomp physics after airstomping I would get up and shoot them fast with the Marshall. I've already said too much.

When I use the feline or scarab it instantly doubles my KDR. I dare you to use the marshall for 1 month and lets see how you do all those things you just said.

If you want we can play 1on1, I use feline which I have not much experience using and you use the marshall which is a noob gun. I'm telling you mang...I'll f****ng destroy you!

The real challenge with the Marshall is getting the kill with the first shotgun shot, and not with the follow up melee. It's just too easy with the Marshall to just slide into a guy shoot a bullet and melee then keep running along with Energy Transfer. I purposely tone my play style down now with Crysis 2. I've played it for so long I don't even care about getting Gunships all I want to do is get cool looking kills, mostly by way of airstomp. I'm just saying to you all don't get too reliant on one gun, and to reboot your nanosuits. It really does make you better. Too many people afraid to give up their Modules.

You just said two different things though, you said when you use the Feline or Scarab it "instantly doubles your KDR" then you later said that you have no experience with the Feline. I really don't think you have 5 custom classes all using the Marshall... I take back what I said about the Marshall being a no skill gun because it actually does take skill and patience to line up the right shot to get a 1 hit kill, but it is noob too because of the amount of people who try hard with the Marshall only to follow it up with a melee for their kills. The players most kill should ALWAYS come by the way of gun and not the melee. If you see someone with 3000 melee kills and 1000 marshall kills as the next closest you know then that they have no marksmanship and you can most likely take them from a medium distance with no problems.

Bro I'm a nice guy you never saw me not once in this forum to ever brag, biching, fight, and argue but what you just said about the marshall being a noob gun is a total BS...you know it and everyone knows that a pump action shotgun is very hard to use. Bro I've seen you biching all over this forum for so long but not once except now that I face palm you because I respect all the players here in this forum. I respect you all but what you just said about the marshall pisses me off big time because I'm here using only the marshall to make things fair, so the new players will have a fighting chance against me...the only time you see me uses the feline is when I fight against the top clans in squads here in crysis2 because using the marshall against them is just playing stupid. So all I ask is just watch your words carefully next time ZiTo, dont bich about something that you know it isn't true.

WTF ZiTo? I'm 100% experienced with the marshall because its the only gun I uses. but i did use the feline from time to time when I know that I'm about to fight against the top clans in full squads. Bro YES! my 5 custom classes is all marshall with different modules...you know why I did that so I won't be tempted to use the feline when the going gets tough. All my bros here knows that all my custom class are marshall.

P.S. I have 9,742 marshall kills and 5,552 melee kills. Don't want to brag about my accuracy so just check out my stats.

Zito, are you stupid? The marshal takes skill to use. Its the hardest gun in the game to use. It has bad accuracy and it shoots 1 shot every 2 seconds. If you think it is a noob weapon how about you use it against me and I use feline. If it is so OP it will be able to take me down.

You need to be a pro to be able to use the gun. And why do you complain about everything in this game Zito? If you don't like it then don't play it.

Any tips/advice on using the Marshall. I can definitely see the benefit of using this destructive gun. I have dominated at times using this gun but this is mainly because I'm playing against noobs; I'm not comfortable yet using this against good players :P . I've been practicing a little bit with it but still struggling at times to use it properly. Example: If I'm turning around to shoot, I tend to sometimes over shoot the target and have to try and get a second shot in but by then the enemy would have turned around and pump a full clip into me and I die. I currently like to use around 55-60 sensitivity all guns (even snipping), I've played around with this option when using the Marshall. I guess more than anything the Marshall is something that grows on you. I'd be interested on hearing advise on mods that would be helpful; I know mobility enhance is useful because you need to get really close to the player, other thoughts?

Edit to include: Then again my controller is a bit dodgy and naturally wants to turn to the left something I have come accustom to with most guns but not the Marshall yet.

what sensitivity do you use or a better question, what sensitivity do you suggest for someone starting out with the Marshall?

I use sensitivity 35 and I suggest the same for beginners but I have to warn you...you cant use other weapon on that same sensitivity because its really slow.
