Ambassador Smith, House's Ambassador

"If you vacate Helios immediately you will be allowed to keep one unarmed, independent monitor at Helios. Also every other group here with engineers who are of a sane and compident nature will be allowed one unarmed independent monitor at Helios so that everyone can rest safety at night knowing that the super weapon at Helios will never be engaged.

GR Spokesperson Robert “Bob” Stanley

doesn't the main super laser weapon at Helio require a tigger-thing to use? couldn't this be destoryed or locked up the trigger device, maybe in the lucky 38 or Vault 3 (once we move in ofcourse) that way the main weapon can never be used, even if someone unlocks it (or can only be used when we want it, if locked up)

ooc: going to bed now aswell & thanks horse, i though we weren't giving out power lol

edit: might be able to check up later to see what happening.

Dr. Sanders, Followers Doctor

I have a deal for all of you, how about we let the Brotherhood keep Helio's One and I'll get the followers to patch up any injuried members of your gang.

OOC: This does not affect any current deals. Ex. Novac doc is still going to happen.

Ambassador Smith, House's Ambassador
"Welcome Ambassador Granger and you as well Spokesman Stanley. If you two need anything such as water or food simply alert me and a securitron will provide it for you.

Ambassador Granger you've travelled along way so let me make this as quick as possible. House is the pre war world, House saved Vegas, and by extension Nellis, from nuclear fire 200 years ago. House is willing to offer you a pact; House will finance the restoration of all pre war aircraft in the region, including the bomber at the bottom of Lake Meed. All pre war aircraft restored, except any vertibirds will be given your forces. In exchange you use your mighty air power against the enemies of House and Vegas. Can your people agree to this deal?"
Malcom 'Ace' Granger - Boomers

"To see the Lady in the water raised and fufill our dream of flight, would be a immense favour to us!"
"Tell House that we can happily defend Vegas with our guns and soon to be bomber, It would be the least we could do!"

"As for these other kind people, we will happily accept your offers of aid, and in return we offer to provide power to Las vegas. Also, as a token of our newfound friendships, Pearl has permitted me to give this as a token of thanks, a key to the armoury in Vault 34. There is a energy gun inside that I'm sure you could use."

7 months after the Second Battle of Hoover Dam

Much can change within 30 days, and last month was no different. After the First Mojave Convention life moved on and war didn't change. The Legion, an ever present threat in the Mojave, launched a failed attack on the town of Novac. Days before the battle Novac received a massive weapon shipment. While a few citizens of Novac died in the attack, because of Legates' lack of tactical originality most Legionaries poured directly over the I-93 bridge, only to meet their death from First Recon on top of an abandoned Posiden Gas Station and an pair of duel snipers at the top of the town hotel. After the Legion lost the battle, crosses were set a top of a near by hillside with all of the formerly surviving members of the Second Battle of Hoover Dam posted as a sign not to enter Novac. A few days after the battle small scale Legion raids from Nelson, working their way around the town and attacking from the south, have resulted in no deaths on either side, but a Legion flag was posted, a warning from the group that the Legion can still cause trouble for their town.

North of Novac in Helios One, the BoS relinquished control to a group of House's securitrons and made their way to Rep Conn. Despite the fact Helios security system had been reactivated, after a few days of linking with the network House was able to deactivate them without incident, and restore power to the Strip. Not forgetting the situation in Freeside, House restored power to the cities aging water system. Within a week of Helios had the Strip drained in lights, Novac had enough power for their ranches, farms and a few spotlights and Freeside flowing with water. Unfortunately the water was to little to late in Freeside. Despite a Gun Runners shipment to the King paid for by House, only non-King members and low ranking ones in Freeside were executed. Many higher ranking King members, such as Pacer, who are rumored to have been a part in the violence have gone unscratched.

The executions did calm Freeside, and within days of the water coming on things were more or less back to normal, but no tourist have yet to return to Vegas. The Followers brought enough supplies from caravans to help heal Freeside and the Kings had enough weaponry to put down any threats to the area. Caravans along the I-15 reported that the deathclaw threat had been removed, although highways north of I-93 were experiencing Legion raids. Due to the loss of Cottonwood to NCR veteran rangers and the failed attempt to take Novac, the Legion was now using their last remaining reserve forces to attack the Vegas area directly. Camp Golf is now occupied by the Legions top Centurions. From roughly 188 outpost up to Vegas' gates have been crawling with Legionaries in the night, all of them coming from Hoover Dam, the Legion's gate to the west. Luckily for the Gun Runners they relocated before these raids began, but Crimson Caravan's regional offices were not as lucky.

The Legion occupation of I-95 isn't having the Legion's desired effect of choking Vegas from NCR caravans, since the NCR Rangers launched an attack on the Quarry killing all of the deathclaws encamped their. While the campaign was successful Ranger Ghost was killed in the operation, not by a deathclaw, but by a nightkin who had wondered from Black Mountain during the battle, much to the anger of the NCR. Because the war in the Mojave has been looking up for the NCR Senators in the west have promised not to end the campaign, but there is much controversy if Primm, Nipton and Cottonwood should become permanent parts of their Republic.

As soon as the Enclave moved onto the Strip many were unsure of their power, that is until they dealt with the Fiends. Within 15 minutes the Fiends were no longer a threat to Vegas and were erased from the earth. Just as the Fiend problem was ending, a new problem arose from Southwestern Vegas. The Vault 19 Powder Gangers emerged and began looking for targets in Southwest Vegas, almost destroying one of House's securitrons while it was doing area reconnaissance and collecting the Fiend's weapons. The Boomers continued to remain with Nellis, but because of the Legion's presence at Camp Golf, no movement has been made in restoring the Bomber in the lake.

On the strip itself, the Chairmen took control of the Gomorrah and "rehired" many of the Omerta's former six slaves, any who rejected to this hostile takeover were killed in the name of treason, House looked the other way. The White Glove Society was elated that power was returned to the Strip, but rumors continued to spread that some of their more "tribalistic practices" were continuing.

Now with the Legion at their gates, House has called for another Mojave Convention, only this time named as the Mojave Congress to discuss among other things the Mojave Confederation...

If you have any questions about the events that unfolded, or think something needs to be changed just let me know.

OOC: I thought Novac was going to get power from Helios One too, to power spotlights and to let water flow so their farms don't die, and they were going to get weapons from the Gun Runners (paid for by House) to fund their own militia.

Other than that its perfect.

Ambassador Smith, House's Ambassador

Smith had gone through a massive personality overhaul during the 30 day period, only to have House change Smith back to his previous boring state. For some reason House liked Smith, his dull lack of personality appealed to House for some reason, and he found himself talking to Smith when he wasn't busy working or interacting with Jane. In any case Smith hadn't changed and just as last month House wheeled him down to the Lucky 38's doors and had him open them. The Lucky 38's insides had changed, with a large pre war flag hanging from the ceiling as soon as you walked it. The flag looked like a normal one, except it had one star in the blue section. The conference table remained, and besides a few other changes to some pictures hanging up, all was the same in the Lucky 38.

Smith rolled back to the conference table and quietly waited for the other guess to arrive.

Ranger Matthew-New California Republic

*The Ranger makes his way into the building and is astounded by the sight of the Lucky 38. He spots the meeting table and slowly limps toward it. He holsters his pistol, takes off his ranger helmet, and sets his duster on his chair. He sits down*

*Mayor Harty walks in. Unlike last time his suit is newly washed and he has slept well the past few days. He is in an optomistic mood and ready for another productive convention*

Hello Smith, I guess we're all back once more for a second time... er... almost all of us. I am very sorry to hear about Ranger Blaine. He was a good man.

Ranger Matthew-New California Republic

Shot up the side of the head. Luckily it was a rather small caliber weapon, a 9mm SMG. By lucky, I mean that he was lucky not to have been instantly killed. Regrettably, the doctors in Primm notified me this morning with news that he probably will not make it.

Not at all rude. It is only natural for beings to want to know what happened. Just a glass of water please.

Ambassador Turner - The Kings

* Ambassador Alex Turner walked through the giant steel doors of the Strip, running his hands through the sides of his well maintained quiff as he walked up to the Lucky 38. He wore his Kings outfit, the leather jacket's lapels now caked with blood from what locals had begun to call the "Freeside Trials". He walked into the conference room, gave the other representatives a nod, and slumped into his chair. Had the Kings logo on the seat, nice touch. At the doorway of the room were two Kings, each toting an Assault rifle given by the Gun Runners.

"Alright, let's get on with this, sorry about the sour disposition, it's been a long day. Whiskey me robot."

Kevin Harty- Mayor of Novac

The trip was suprisingly uneventful.

For the past few days the Novac Miltia has been attacking Legion raiding parties to the north, hoping that they would be tending to their wounded when we needed to send a large caravan here, that I sent at that specific time to give an excuse for having many guards here on my way to this convention.

An experienced NCR field doctor has been tending to him. Not even the finest doctor in California could tend to as much cranial bleeding as he is going through.

That is if he is still alive as we speak.

Colonel Mason Black - Enclave Remnants

Colonel Black having been summoned for a second convention took the time to have his officer's uniform pressed and his medals shined before heading to the Lucky 38. He also managed to find time to shave his mustache and beard, something he had neglected over the past month. Finally after looking over his appearance in a mirror House had provided he departed for the 38.

As he enters Colonel Black immediately noticed the stars and stripes on the ceiling and quickly removes his officer's hat which he pins at his side before saluting. He rubs a hand through his silver hair before donning his officer's cap once more. He looks over at the gathered representatives and is somewhat intrigued as to the arrival of another ranger though he says nothing on the matter. Though he does shoot a venomous glare to the individual prior to taking his seat.

"A cup of coffee and a rare brahmin steak would be nice, robot."

OOC: Sorry for the lack of activity towards the end of part 1. I hope I'm doing a good job representing the enclave.

Ambassador Smith, House's Ambassador

"I see," Smith said in response to Matthews, his programming quickly redirected him to the new guest in the Lucky 38

*Smith changed his focus as Ambassador Turner walked into the room and sat down.

"A securitron will bring you that whiskey shortly. Turner I must say, House has been pleased with the progress of the "Freeside Trails" but from what we've seen only low ranking thugs in the neighborhood have been executed. Why is that?"

Smith then responded to Mayor Harty saying, "I see, well I think it's clear to everyone that Nelson and the Hoover Dam must be destroyed soon. If that's done Camp Golf will fall. How has your town been in relation to those ghouls? I know the BoS moved into Rep Conn recently."

Lastly Smith noted the entrance of House's strongest ally, Colonel Black.
"Colonel, House thought you would like to see that flag. It's been a while sense the old stars and stripes have flown in this region. House hopes you won't mind the single star instead of the pre-war layout. Given the new beginnings it only seemed fit for the flag to reflect this. Also your substance will be given to you shortly."

Kevin Harty- Mayor of Novac

The ghouls have been eliminated. I believe the Brotherhood is now clearing out the rubble and fixing wiring.

Perhaps soon we will manage to strike the Legion.

But right now how about we talk about soem sort of state system. There are some places where the borders between factions are confusing. To prevent any arguements over who owns what I think we should draw up a map of everybody's borders, with the biggest settlement in that area the capital of the state.

Mayor Marty you have a point, there are some basic things that we must get out of the way and fairly soon.

It is a wondrous sight despite it's altered design. Perhaps it could be flown on the Strip for all to see? That business aside the Enclave has done it's part to remove the Fiends from McCarran. Hopefully now we can focus on some of the larger problems to the Mojave."
