The Mojave Convention Continued

OOC: Forgot to reply to this earlier.

The ghouls have been eliminated. I believe the Brotherhood is now clearing out the rubble and fixing wiring.

Perhaps soon we will manage to strike the Legion.

But right now how about we talk about soem sort of state system. There are some places where the borders between factions are confusing. To prevent any arguements over who owns what I think we should draw up a map of everybody's borders, with the biggest settlement in that area the capital of the state.

Colonel Mason Black - Enclave Remnants

Colonel Black applauds at this remark. "Finally those power armored boy scouts did something useful cutting down on those abominations."

Ambassador Turner - The Kings

* Turner sighed at the Nightkin's story as his hand relaxed. To be sure, he placed his switchblade on the table in front of him before taking another swig from his bottle.

"Now there are two reasons for that friendo, one, it was the result of the natural human reaction upon seeing a hulking super mutant and whatever that... thing is outside saunter down towards the Strip, and two, garden variety Freeside thugs, whom we've had to deal with since the beginning. In the latter's case, we've been working on getting rid of the thugs and deserters, and in the case of the former, well.. The Great War was a [censored], wasn't it."

* He smirks playfully, before turning to the representative of Novac.

"On your offer of taking out Pacer, I'm afraid it wouldn't be very wise. If the act can in any way be traced back to Novac, there's no doubt in my mind that the King will want to seek revenge. It must be done in a way that makes it seem as though it was merely a run of bad luck, an untraceable assassin, an "unfortunate accident". If you can find a way around those obstacles, then I would be willing to see to it that a squad of Kings is sent to Novac to help you deal with the Powder Gangers in exchange."

Colonel Mason Black - Enclave Remnants

"A run in with me would do him in quite quickly and I doubt this 'King' would be foolish enough to attempt something so foolish against the Enclave."

"Doctor welcome to the Lucky 38, make yourself at home, because I do believe this will be a long meeting.

Colonel after that Fiend operation I'm sure you'll handle those task efficient, Vegas will be safer because of the Enclave.

Representative Turner, it's time for us to put to an end the violence in Freeside. From the Fiends operation I have about 12 pieces of salvaged power armor. I'm willing to allow you and 11 of your most trusted friends to use that armor to clear Freeside block by block of crime once and for all. After the operation the armor need to be returned via the Northern Gate. Are you up for the challenge?"

Representative Lobotomite - The State of Utobitha

*Smiles while looking at his blade, nearly done with his blood soaked rag*

"I know that my presence and especially Moe's is more then enough at most times to instigate violence in humans, but at least with regular civilians it more often promotes fear and horror. I find it strange that five regular civilians were desperate and insane enough to attack two Nightkin and a Centaur with cleavers, sledgehammers and one 9mm pistol. I find it amusing that in the days it took us to travel here we weren't attacked by Legion, but when we entered Freeside we were attacked within five minutes."

"I'm sorry Representative I was caught up in conversation, don't worry within a few days Freeside will be the safest place in the Mojave. And in the future you won't have to travel through Freeside to enter the Strip and make it to these meetings.

Ambassador Turner - The Kings

"I would be more than happy to do that, but first I would need to take care of Pacer, there's a chance he might try and throw his weight around if we did it without taking care of him first."

*And with that, Turner focused his attention on the Enclave officer seated across from him.

"Speaking of throwing your weight around, sir. I'm well aware that you represent the former government of this great nation, and I'm very aware of your power and what you can do. You're probably feeling pretty good, living on the Strip, having decimated the Fiends, but quite frankly my friend, I don't give a damn. I appreciate you wanting to help the situation in Freeside, but do not underestimate the King. If I have to cleanse Freeside all on my own, then so be it, because I won't stand for Freeside living in fear of the Enclave or any other power in the Mojave. Are we clear?"

Ranger Matthews, what is your nations next move in this conflict? Camp Golf will be gone soon, but Nelson is still a thorn in the side of the Mojave and stops a direct attack on the Hoover Dam from the south. Also I know the map I provided is somewhat small but does everyone agree to that outline?

Colonel Mason Black - Enclave Remnants

Colonel Black was ready to tear the near human before him apart but thanks his good mood he decided against it. "Fine, do as you wish. I was merely posing a possible solution towards your problem with this Pacer fellow."

OOC: Just a thought but perhaps we should suffer some setbacks in our campaign to destroy the legion to ensure we can keep this particular convention going.

Ambassador Turner - The Kings

"I think Mr. Smith's idea for dealing with Pacer would be best. Since the Legion is so close, it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for Pacer to try and stop a supposed Legion spy from entering the Strip, and getting gunned down. Pacer dies a hero in the eyes of the King, and he'll want revenge, willing to send our forces to help send the Legion out of the Mojave. Now, since we're on the subject of boundaries and borders, Smith, I had brought up with the King the idea of expanding Freeside into the surrounding areas, specifically Westside, and North Vegas Square, once the chaos in Freeside is taken care of, of course. My reason being that if we expand, we will be able to recruit more members of the Kings and possibly the Followers, and we can be able to spread our numbers evenly across the Mojave. With more Kings, we'll also be able to provide a stronger border of protection around the Strip, while still maintaing safe access for some through the Southern Entrance."

Dr. Sanders, Followers Lead Doctor

Well, I have no place in miltary campaigns. Best the Followers can offer is patching you up. But I'm with Turner here. Expanding Freeside sounds good and the Followers can strech out a bit. Instead of one base we have three bases.

ooc- Undead I'll add you
ooc- There are plently of things that could be done. For instance make the NCR expansionist again, have Primm grasp for independence, have the BoS try to reclaim Helios through military action. Powder Gangers attack Vault 13, Legion retakes Cottonwood and attacks Nipton. Legion attacks Freeside. The King is overthrown by Pacer. Etc etc there are plenty of things to do to keep this convention going.

Hick walked into the Lucky 38, it being the first time he had entered, ever, the inside stunned him. Mr. House, does not keep it clean. he thought to himself.

OOC: I think it was much easier to make good changes when the entire Mojave wasn't at war (Tops convention).
There are plenty of things to do, if you assume that all the ambassadors keep digging up problems that become less and less important. Nevertheless, it will be obvious when the Mojave Convention is at an end.

Ranger Matthew-NCR

So be it. I will dispatch a platoon of troopers, backed up by the veteran rangers, to deal with Nelson.

What's in it for us, if we aid you in this manner?

ooc- Gingy I'm thinking that we keep things from war but make them more....heated between our groups. WHy don't you make the NCR much less willing to cooperate and land hungry? I'll make House more authoritarian. Champagne you could have the King killed by Pacer...it would take little things.

Nice to see the White Gloves finally arriving here. I started to get a bit lonesome all by myself. How's the Ultra Luxe been treating you?

Senior Paladin Marshall Denton, BoS

*Having been invited to once again represent his Order, Paladin Denton strides through the doors of the Lucky 38, alone, and takes note of the ambassadors, including one who seemed to have just arrived before him that wasn't at the previous convention. He silently takes a seat. Unlike last time, his armor is in pristine condition, and he sets a silenced 12.7mm pistol on the table in front of him.*

"Sorry if I'm late. Had to dodge quite a number of Legion patrols on the way here. Have I missed anything?"

OOC: It just sounds fairly desperate, no offense. There isn't quite as much you can do when the major factions are in bits and pieces. The NCR is Power hungry enough, I'm trying to get them more into place at the moment. This is my first time doing NCR so I'm not that good at this role.

"If I may, I would like to say that my Order is actually glad that we moved into the REPCONN facility. It's easily defend-able, off the main drag, and had quite a number of pre-War technology that will be of interest to us. The Ghoul problem has been taken care of, per Mayor Harty's wishes as well."

ooc- It's just a suggestion, I'll be changing House's ambassador though

Representative Payne, House's Representative

Suddenly Smith was gone from the screen, replaced with the face of a standard securitron officer.

"Nice suit there Denton, I'm surprised you tribals can even maintain such armor. Everyone House has done some... personality updates to this securitron unit, please don't be alarmed. I must say, all of you people with your damn guns, it's times like these I wish I had hands...in any case Denton, I must say that was some treat, those robots in Helios One. House is always glad to gain some pre war robots to add to his forces."
