The Mojave Convention Continued

ooc- It's just a suggestion, I'll be changing House's ambassador though

Representative Payne, House's Representative

Suddenly Smith was gone from the screen, replaced with the face of a standard securitron officer.

"Nice suit there Denton, I'm surprised you tribals can even maintain such armor. Everyone House has done some... personality updates to this securitron unit, please don't be alarmed. I must say, all of you people with your damn guns, it's times like these I wish I had hands...in any case Denton, I must say that was some treat, those robots in Helios One. House is always glad to gain some pre war robots to add to his forces."

Senior Paladin Marshall Denton, BoS

"Yes, it was something I forgot to bring up at the last convention. It was to be a show of good faith on our part, but I'll be honest, I was pissed that my Order was targeted for extermination so it slipped my mind. In any case, I'm glad that you're satisfied. So, about the Legion...I think we may have a solution to the problem facing us all."

Ambassador Turner - The Kings

"Alright, I'm just gonna play the "audience surrogate" here for a sec and just go ahead and say it. Could we not just, well, after we sort out all our individual squabbles and problems, could we not just rally a portion of all our respective groups and force the Legion out, camp by camp?"

"We very well could, but at the cost of how many lives, Mr. Turner?"

* Turner smiled, leaning back into his seat.

"Hm, well there's that. I should be the last person willing to sacrifice lives right now. What's your plan then Denton?"

"Your on to something there, this campaign with the Legion could be ended within a few days if we all act now. There are 5 Legion positions left in the Mojave. Camp Golf will be destroyed by the Enclave soon. Nelson can be taken by a joint force of Novac milita and the NCR. The harder part is the Hoover Dam which the Legion has been fortifying for the past 7 months. If the Hoover Dam falls so will the two remaining camps, the Fort and Legates camp which are simply an entry point and camp for the Legate respectively.

"I'm bringing this to the table so we can lay it out as an option. During our elimination of the ghouls, we came across a bunch of hostile Nightkin that had taken up residence in the basemant of the REPCONN facility, in addition to a group of non-hostile Ghouls. However, before I could begin to negotiate with these Ghouls, one of my men became trigger-happy and shot at the group's leader. In turn, we had no choice but to return fire. Fear not, for this man has been dealt with severely and has been exiled from our Order, per our Codex.

What was interesting was that a human by the name of Chris Haversam was amongst these Ghouls, and he surrendered. He claimed that he had been working on a set of space rockets to take him and the Ghouls on some non-sense called "the Great Journey," and that he was a scientist. Once we dealt with the Nightkin--*Denton looks to Lobo uneasily*--which I hope you understand, they attacked us first, but anyways...we indeed found these space rockets in a large chamber in the basemant. Looking at them, an idea came to mind. If we could get these rockets functioning, we could reprogram their navigational data and use them as a weapon against the Legion. However, the drawback is if we did manage to convert these rockets, we could even end up damaging the Hoover. But we could use them to hit the other sites that the Legion controls.

Now, I know what you may be thinking. 'Oh, the Brotherhood is hording it for themselves, they could kill us all.' But really, what purpose would that serve? No, remove that notion. If we were to come to a unanimous agreement on whether to go ahead with the conversion of the rockets, we may actually have a real chance to crush the Legion before they overrun New Vegas. As further assurance, we will let House himself push the button if and only if the rockets function. What say the rest of you?"

Let us Nightkin remove the Battle Cattle from the Hoover Dam. They have been fortifying the outside with fences and gates, with Stealth Boys we shall infiltrate the Dam itself and slaughter them from within. In the narrow corridors the Legion's numbers will mean nothing.

I have heard of this group, they were led by one named Davison. I knew him when I was at Jacobstown, he and all who followed him were deeply unstable and traumatized by the Master's death. They formed a sort of religion that many of the more intelligent of my kind call antlerism, but that is not important. Rest assured Paladin that I will seek no retribution for their deaths, they were all beyond help.

Yes yes the plan is failing into place. After the Nelson and Golf attacks it will come down the Dam as our pathway to the east.

The Novac Milita and BoS could lead an attack on the observation deck of the Dam with close air support by the Enclave. Also Colonel tell me, just what can that vertibird of your's do in combat? In any case House's robots have 9mm sub machine guns which work well in crowded situations, machetes and spears won't have much of an effect on securitrons. Also with the new robots from Helios internally the Hoover should fall. The Legion isn't as strong at the Hoover Dam as you would think, but more than likely they are relying on close up combat to save them..combat with robots are something they haven't prepared for. Nor are they prepared for meta humans with stealth boys.

Denton those rockets could save innumerable lives, even if structural damage is done to the Hoover Dam I can assure you as the creator of those rockets that they won't cause much damage to the Dam, but I would warn you against trying to save them for a rainy day against House, the Lucky 38 is still very much equipped with anti-missile rockets that saved the Mojave from nuclear destruction. Those rockets would do nothing but be exploded mini-air if House calculates they aren't heading east."

"I still think that if we unified Freeside, Westside, and North Vegas Square under the Kings, then we could have more Kings to spare in the attacks against the Legion, as well as more possible doctors and nurses for the Followers. I need House's blessing for this, and we can send delegates over right now."

"I'm surprised, Ambassador Payne, that my Order and House could agree on this matter. We are well aware of House's former ownership of REPCONN due to RobCo buying it out before the War, but we were unsure if rockets of that magnitude would cripple the Dam or not. Also, we would more than willing to lend support for an attack on the Observation Deck. In fact, if we can get the rockets to work, we could use them to precipitate an attack that would weaken the Legion's force, then follow up with a ground force to roll in and take out any survivors of the initial attack."

"Representative Turner as long as you join the Mojave Confederation and are able keep Freeside secure, annex North Vegas and Westside, seeing how they thought so little of our meetings not even to send someone. But past those gates the Kings expansion and sovereignty must end. Once this conflict is over, there are many industries and things that must be done for economic development without having to go through the King or anyone else.

One consent that you must make if Nightkin are going to be used to infiltrate the Dam is to not enter the structure until either I myself have exited and have said that it's safe or in the highly unlikely scenario that you have confirmation that every Nightkin is dead. In order to bring sufficient numbers to take the Hoover Dam we will have to use many unstable members of my kind. They will attack the Battle Cattle with great pleasure and bloodlust, but they will also do the same if faced with a Securitron, a King, a Follower's Doctor, a Brotherhood Paladin, an Enclave Remnant, an NCR Ranger *He said this with a glance to Ranger Matthew* or even their own shadow if the voices in their heads convince them to.

Ooc: Back to school now but since I’m in sixth forum, it’s only for like 3 hours a day
GN Spokesperson Robert “Bob” Stanley, Recently promoted to head of easten(vegas) operations.

Bob walks inside; his left arm is bandaged due to what appears to be a stabbing. He sit down at the table whilst the others talk.

“sorry for being late, was attacked by a legion patrol this morning, one of them stabbed me in arm but we managed to capture two of his buddies

“Moving on, the Gun runner move to Vault 3 was successful and production is up by 10% with the use of vault equipment and an area within the living quarters has been made available for our king guards, including a working pool table although parts of the vault remain flooded.

“We have also found what appears to be a Fiend jail inside the living quarters and are storing two legion prisoners inside, they have not spoken yet. We could also lock Placer up in this area should no-one wish to kill him.

Bob turned to Mr Smith. “Mr Smith, any fiend tech gathered has been placed next to Vault entrance; feel free to gather it when ready. He said before turning back to the others

“As for our old offices, the vendor stand remains intact and shall act as a mini shop/outpost for those not wishing to go to vault 3, the robot will be restocked every week. The factory itself has been emptied and has no further use to us. House, kings, Enclave and followers you may use the building if you wish, decide among yourselves who shall own it.

Okay I think that’s everything that’s happened this month, could I have a Nuka cola please?, oh and I also got promoted.”

As long as Hoover Dam doesn't lose any of its structural integrity, the invasion should go without a hitch.

The easiest way inside is to infiltrate it and enter through the pipes.

The Legion are massive idiots, and even if they noticed it before we made it in, they wouldn't know how to use the Dam's technology if it slapped them on the face.

sorry to hear about Mr Blanies, maybe a Autodoc could fix him, we found one in vault but it's broken

AS for legion i mentioned we captured two scouts today, perhaps if we can find people who look like them we can digusie two people as legionaires and check out their defenses, maybe open or shut some doors?, forge/steal some documents and kill some officers? it would make our attack easier but it would be very dangerous mission.
