The Moon and the Lily.

Coming from the popular “Call to the Wolf pack” thread from the Skyrim general discussion, this role play aims to continue the story of the Wolf Pack and the Order of the Lily.

The year was 4E 205, a Knightly order from Hammerfell saw it fit to expand its Territory to the northern kingdom of Skyrim. The guild expansion was lead by a Missionary named Markus Liberty, a mad religious war veteran with an unspeakable loong record of cruelty. In order for the guild to gain the proper reputation among its new Nordic audience they took on the task to eliminate the most fears of all organized werewolf packs, “The Wolf Pack”.

Civil war breaks loos between the forebears and the crowns in the far away land of Hammerfell. The war takes it to the city of Sentinel and all guilds sworn to protect the current high King are eliminated, including the Order of The lily.

The war between the Mercenary guild and the wolf Pack lasted for a whole five months, eventually ending in a draw.

Existing now only as a small branch in Skyrim the the order saw little reason to continue the battle with the wolf pack and surrenders. Left Is a burned out battlefield, two weakened fronts and a powerful artifact known as the Staff of chaos, not knowing what to do the two groups band together in search of a better way of life... and a way to permanently destroy the staff of legend. (if they care to)

Name: DarJo
Race: Khajiit
Gender: Male
Class: StealthMage

DarJo was born in the deserts of Elsweyr, to the family of a poor traveling caravan. He lived there for only one year.
The caravan travelled a lot, from country to country. The only countries he had not been to were Black Marsh, Summerset Isles, and Morrowind. Of all of them, he spent the least time in Skyrim, being only a few weeks.
At the age of 6 he discovered his magical talents, and used this to his advantage, by thieving his family's caravan way to being one of the richest Caravans in Tamriel.
At age 20, his family returned to Skyrim, and stayed near the walls of Riften. DarJo snuck into the city were his kind were not allowed, snuck into someone's house, and stole a valuable gem.
He was cought and imprisoned in the jail. But a man paid his way out. The man's name was Brynjolf, a member of the Thieve's Guild. DarJo thanked him, and Brynjolf offered him a spot in the Guild.
DarJo was about to refuse the offer, when he heard a terrible roar. Looking into the sky, he witnessed a Dragon flying above, and landing just outside the city walls. Realising thats were his family was, he ran out the gates and witnessed the monster lifting up his mother in it's jaws.
Without thinking, DarJo launched bolts of lightning into the face of the Dragon. But the city gaurd got in his way and killed the Dragon themselves. Having no were else to go, DarJo accepted Brynjolf's offer.
He heard many stories throughout taverns and inns, about a war in Falkreath, about Werewolves and Mercenaries. What really interested was talk about a Staff of Chaos.
Now, the Dragon Crisis is over, the Wolf Pack and the Order of the Lily had stopped fighting. The Civil War seemed to be coming to a near end, Skyrim seemed to be staring in the face of Peace.
However, a new threat will rise, and DarJo will by meer coincident, be dragged into the middle of it. He will become a key figure, and may make the difference between the destruction of his new home, and it's peace.

I think the setting should be a general location. Taking place in Falkreath, the Reach, High Rock, and Hammerfell.

(but i might need some "hand holding" for locations in High Rock and Hammerfell, i never played Arena or Daggerfall)

regarding those old games, they were all randomly generated and playing them makes you no wiser regarding the locations at all, so i think we will, in any case, make it all up ourselves using only city names and so forth.

that's a great idea, i can make the second post the character biography list

so does that mean do it in the real RP thread, or you are making a new thread designed just for the character bio

Think some of us need to update our current character's backstories? If so then I've got to get moving on that. Guess I'll message you with that when I'm done writing it.

(Oh and due to my comment in the wolf rp...Am I going to Markus's Camp right now or some other camp?)

yes update your characters. This story takes place sometime after the War, and no doubt characters will have changed, or have new motives, or gone different ways.

edit: and sorry if my bio seems a little long, Markus. But its a new character and I wanted to give his whole background.

Well in the off-chance that Markus' men correctly carried out my orders, you're going to Markus' camp.
EDIT: We should decide where the next RP takes place. I vote for Skyrim so that as many people can stay as possible.

Phenix is leaving anyway, don't know if anyone else have a problem with other Provinces

i agree that the overall threat should involve Skyrim, but I think there should be moments were we have to go to other provinces to get a certain artifact or something

Oh yeah? That's a shame. Well in the case anyone else has a problem with another province, I'd gladly stay in Skyrim (doesn't really matter to me where we RP).

We have about one hundred posts left in the wolf pack thread, lets make sure we use them wisely, when it is over we start the new thread.

the explanation is simply that the staff was sold on the black market after the Imperial palace was raided, so somehow Markus got hold of it. Glenn/dovakhin have it now, so its up to him what happens

The Staff of Chaos is some ancient and powerful staff in the TES universe that has had many masters throughout the ages. Here's a more in-depth article: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Staff_of_Chaos
And no, I don't think it should have a part in the new RP.

the main quest of the first game in the serie was all about finding the pieces to the staff and saving the emperor who was trapped in it, but we might as well drop it
