The Morokai incident : V

Here I was doing the Eye of Magnus questline and getting to the end of Labyrinthian to retrieve the staff of magnus. Some voice had been taunting me and draining my magica.

I was anticipating a climatic battle against a worthy adversary, ready to pit my arcane mastery against a powerful foe and then I meet him, Morokai the dragonpriest and a mage duel ensues...

Morokai goes on the offensive after I release him and attacks me with....sparks? Seriously? Nothing else? No? He just stands there tickling me with one handed sparks spell the whole fight...I didnt even need my ward.

Morokai "look I can shoot lighning...from my fingertips. Prepare for your doom mortal!".
Thirty seconds later "why isn't the lightning from my fingertips killing you?"
Me: "Seriously the sparks spell is so 1st era"
Morokai: "It worked for for Emperor Palpatine didn't it, stop laughing and have the decency to die by the lightning from my fingertips"
Me: "Stop tickling me and let me show you how we do it in the fourth era"

And then I blasted him to death with my arsenal of firespells

Dragon priests and worthy adversary in the same sentence? They are cowards if you get up close and personal, Krosis tried to run from Shadowmere once and well it didn't end well for him, ended well for me because I got his mask.

Well I didn't know what I was going to face, I thought I was going against Magnus in one form or another

Why would Magnus suddenly appear like that? He didn't die he escaped Nirn and if he were an enemy he would probably kill you with one strike if he wanted to.

He was actually very tough for me, but that was due to me fighting him at a VERY low level. Like ten, I think. And he summoned a storm atronach.

Did you win that fight?

Defeating a Dragon Priest at level ten is surely an achievement of hard work . . . literally.

Barely. I had to use the terrain to my advantage to block his spells, and I used electrical attacks to sap his magicka. Eventually, he wasn't able to do a thing to me. Being a Breton also helped immensely.
