You cannot change weapon while attacking.

Anyone agree?

That's is an awfully good candidate! Hard indeed methinks to top the annoyance factor of that.

Turn back you can't go this way (paraphrased) is annoying but can be eliminated via ini.

You cannot sleep in an owned bed / while trespassing is pretty annoying for me also.

You're in the middle of a fight against multiple opponents, losing health quickly, and a message pops up:

"The truly skillful fighter learns to block with shield and weapon. Diligent practice has made you a Journeyman at Blocking. ...Blah, blah, blah..."

Yeah second most annoying message for me would be a tie between you cannot wait while trespassing and you can't rest or fast travel with enemies nearby, lol. I usually don't even wanna wait, just wanna check the time really quick.

I downloaded a mod that made the mudcrabs passive. I found it ridiculous how far they can scan you, like when you're on the imperial city bridge, and they're like 20 feet below you. Yet, somehow, they know you're above them. And for godsakes, why did they make deer your enemies? They're like the most harmless creatures in the game. Now if there was only a mod that changed that.

And those skill pop ups are too far in between to annoy me. Just thank god they're not frequent, but I do find them a pleasant surprise when they pop up.

My most annoying message is the changing cells message, out in the wilderness. The first Oblivion mod I ever made was to get rid of that message. It was just the day after I started playing the game too. I couldn't take that message any more than one day. What was Bethesda thinking? They went to enormous lengths to create the illusion of a seamless world only to destroy it by informing us every 58.5 meters that it is an illusion.

I've never even seen those fast travel messages. I don't fast travel so those messages don't exist for me. The same with the You cannot go this way message. Invisible walls got modded out very soon after the changing cells messages.I have to say that I've been mightily annoyed by that skill-up pop-up box, though.

Life detection spells should making finding those enemies easier, but I definitely agree any blah.. blah.. "...enemies nearby" message is the most annoying. Especially when they're only deer or mudcrabs.

Oh, yeah, the wayshrine map, lol. I've gotten that annoying message too while trying to look at the map. I think it just applies to the map though.
