Which is the most breathtaking dungeon (or cave) you've been in?

I personally like Broken Oar Grotto (just west of Solitude Lighthouse). And Shimmermist Cave is quite pretty.

I cant remember the name if it, but its a nordic barrow ruin wich was sort like a "underground" tower. I cant explain it in english, but that was pretty cool.

Yeah, Broken Oar Grotto is really cool! But my favorite has to be Lost Knife Cave (northwest of Ivarstead, close to a waterfall).

The underground area of skyrim (forgot the name) that you need to take elevators to reach. I was absolutely awestruck when i reached there and saw the giant glowing mushrooms, crazy crystal color palate, and roaming giants. Anybody who thinks skyrim has a generic medieval fantasy style has never gotten here.

Shimmermist Cave was really excruciating...

and the Dwemer ruins are, indeed, sometimes too long :P

Darkwater Pass....pitch black with glow-in-the-dark crystalslining the ceilings, illuminated blue water, falmer and a 50ft underground waterfall.

same here, on my way to Ivarsteadt i take a wrong turn and wind up at the rear entrance of the pass, had to fight my way through Falmer i wasnt really made for, but it was worth it and i made it to the main entrance on the other side also
Spoiler
freeing the Argonian in there
, which made it more epic...

Blackreach, hands down, the most beautiful dungeon EVER in any RPG. I hit the Wolf Queen quest before that and was mightily impressed with the "castle in a cave", but it's got nothing on Blackreach. Amazing.

I don't understand why some people can not use the search function of the forum, or if they can, why they create repeated topics? :obliviongate:

Besides the obvious blackreach ... I really like bonechill passage that you should go through to get to ancients accent. The cave is really really short but I just loved the whole freeze to death feel I got from it. There is probably more dungeons similar to it but in the over 100 hours I've played I haven't found any dungeon quite the same

I haven't been in many dungeons tbh, and I have 50 some hours of playtime. My favorite so far is Bloated Man's Grotto.

I found a dungeon that started as an underground tavern and i snuck in to find Falmer fighting some goons. Deeper into it, it lead to a Falmer cave through a hole in the wall which then turned into a spider's nest which once again led to part of a dwemer ruin. After backtracking on my way out, more goons come in yelling at the barkeep for drinks only to realize she's dead... definately one of the better dungeons ive seen
