Sounds like a cool place.I have the game guide and there is this one mission that brings you to a cave with colorful giant mushrooms
I don't really want to say anymore because of spoilers so this picture will have to do.watch at own risk.

Blackreach blew me away. About 70 hours into the game and the game's world can still amaze me.

Yup, definitely Blackreach. It might not be that far ahead of some of the outdoor vistas in terms of beauty, but it has the biggest wow factor I've come across in a video game. Stunning is a good word.

Every time I see a new terrain area I feel this way, it's hard to say. One of the coolest things was the Eldergleam tree when you go to retrieve the sap to repair the sapling in Whiterun. That place was so cool.

This...coolest area so far.

I can't remember what quest line it was or even the general location of it but it was a giant, colorful, underground dwemer ruin. The only thing I can distinctly remember from it is that I found a *SPOILER* crimson nirnroot *SPOILER*

If anyone can remind me where it was I'd be so grateful.

Definitely Blackreach. I was completely blown away when i accidentally stumbled upon it... There was a freaking giant down there.

Mu second choice would be the Dwemer ruins. They're so much more elaborate than the ones in Morrowind, yet retain much of the same charm. This one in particular caught my eye: http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/594702185006432764/5ED775CD7E0D5B6067D61025F19F6490C824B4B0/

I saw remnants of Oblivion in a Daedric Shrine, black obsidian altar with sharp angles and serrated edges,... are there any quests in this game that actually have you in an Oblivion Gate or zone again? I'd love to see it with Skyrim's graphical quality if so. Just a yes or no will suffice.

My majestic view at Azura's shrine was ruined by a giant square of missing polys in the ocean.

My favorite location appearance-wise is Falkreath Hold as a whole. The rolling hills covered with tall pines and morning mist, and accented with Jeremy Soule's fantastic soundtrack, are just an absolutely stunning vista.

Blackreach is easily the most 'jaw dropping' location in Skyrim. I loved it there.

The first time up the 7000 steps, I stopped and looked out across a vast valley, with the aroura borealis (not sure if that is spelled right) shining in the sky, and the wind dusting snow off the rocks into my path. I called my wife into the room to look at it, as it was absolutely stunning.
