The Most Unpopular Race of Skyrim - what's your bet?

Post » Thu Oct 20, 2011 8:55 am

So, which race will be the most unpopular in Skyrim? What race of NPC's will be the most hard to find?

In my opinion Argonians because it might be hard to them to live in a cold place like Skyrim.

Well it sure as hell won't be Imperials or Orcs. Imperials have troops there, and the Orcs have loads of refugees in Skyrim. And that's not counting anyone that just chose to live there.

Wait....

You are asking which race will be the most unpopular......

But your poll is asking which race is the most unique....

EDIT: I mean, I find Imperials unpopular, but think Argonians are the most unique. So that is why I am getting confused here.

I say Redguards. They've always been the "generic warrior race", nothing special about them. Sure they make a good fighters in a gameplay sence but they are boring.

You certainly havn't read any of the lore then. Ra'ga are easily one of the most interesting races out there. Screw Altmer wizards, I want a jedi-esque Ansei who has the power within their soul to split atom's with a sword made of their own spirit.

Bosmer are the most unpopular, as far as I remember, they always have been, though I wouldn't see to many Argonians in Skyrim to be honest.

Imperials are the most unpopular characterwise, they're just really boring.

Argonian's considering I am going to spill their blood, good or bad NPC I don't care. Each one will pay for the crimes of their forefathers. The only ones that live that I encounter:

1. If they are part of a quest.
2. They are in my faction.
3. It's in plain sight and I cannot stealth kill them because of traffic.

Other than that they will bite the dust.

That's right. I'm inspired. But mine is tiny little different than yours. Mine has cookies.

Lore wise Skyrim took in the displaced Dunmer population after Red Year and the Argonian Invasion. You're gonna see quite a few Dunmer I think.

Well for me It's Argonian, as my son always chooses them in Oblivion, and i favour the Dunmer, so the argument has lasted 5 years and looks to continue well into the future

Everyone has different opinions, so I guess this poll is to show how many like or dislike rather than what is popular and unpopular

Yeah true. But the thing is are the accepted in the towns and cities? They aren't popular in Nord country, that's for sure. And I'm curious if in the game we'll run across refugee camps full of Dunmer.

Except he asked who do you think won't be most represented in Skyrim. He asks
What race of NPC's will be the most hard to find?
and follows it up by saying he thinks Argonian's because of the cold.

People are mistaking it for "Who your favorite/Least Favorite" when its "What race do you think will be least represented do to the environment."

I believe the new book states that they were welcomed with open arms and the Nords put aside their differences. Lame and very uncharacteristic of the Nords, but thats what it says.

Lol!

I always play-argue with my boss at work cause he is a die hard lizard, and I Dunmer. I shut him down though last night with this one....

"So you guys decide to attack us after a natural disaster? How noble of you. That's like China invading Japan right after their tsunami. How noble would that have been?"

...owned... he just laughed and said, "Well we saw an advantage, and we don't have many vs Dunmer so we took it and owned you guys."

Heard about that too, hoping that's not the case. The Nords attacked from the north when the chit hit the fan.... so why they would suddenly welcome us is weird to say the least. Perhaps they are coming together to help take back Morrowind.
