The mysterious Khajit?

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 12:03 pm

Wierd. I had logged about 150 hrs before I ever saw M'aiq. I do mostly fast travel. I started doing some walking instead of fast travel, and now I have seen him twice.

Anyone ever attack M'aiq?

Yeah I tought he in oblivion he was often refering to gameplay for example. I remember him once saying that "Maybe you will see a dragon one day too."

And in Skyrim I heard him say something like "Maiq knows what happened to the Dwemer, but Maiq wont tell now."
Which could maybe be a hint of what the next TES is about? Huh?

Anyways, thanks for the answers!

I thought we knew what happened to the Dwemer?

Spoiler
That Azura transported them all to some plane of Oblivion during the Battle of Red Mountain?

Or was that just a guess?

M'aiq was responsible for the extinction of the dwemer and the loss of everyones voice, though to be fair he returned 4 voices back to the population of tam for everyone to share :)

Maybe it refers to a possible DLC :celebration: . at least i hope so.
P.S (Dwemer aren't significant enough for thier own game)

Mai'q knows he's in a game. He's programed to be able to go from game-to-game via an internet connection now that gaming is connected so. If you have a camera connected to your PC or console, be weary of Mai'q keeping an eye on you.

M'aiq will live as long as we keep annoying Beth. It is their in-house way of making fun of us.
And after their design decisions on magic I can see M'aiq being around for a loooong looooong time.....

That's a good point, well put.

I remember when I first met Maiq in Morrowind and he told me that the horses are up above in the sky...and I levitated like an idiot...:(

..and for Skyrim I am sure he knowes where the hidden cow- level is.

Why hasn't anyone created a "Mai'q quotes" thread yet?

He says some interesting things.

maiq is the fonz jumping a shark.

he's only in skyrim because he was an easter egg in both oblivion and morrowind.

he has no point

@guard there has been at least 20 that i have seen personally, the forum could use another like it could use more stupid "arrow in knee" remarks

M'aiq is no mere Daedra, nor is he Aedra. He is simply M'aiq. He has chosen the body of a Khajit, for it please M'iaq! M'aiq is all-knowing, all-powerful, and a true immortal, for life and death are only different states of being to M'aiq.

M'aiq is the One True God! ALL HAIL M'AIQ!

and anyone who says otherwise is a blasphemer and shall suffer the terrible might of the Church of M'aiq!

Perhaps we will find out the story behind him in The Elder Scrolls: Elsweyr

If the dwemer are never here, then they must be elsweyr, thus TES 6 must be set in elsweyr return of dwemer.

M'aiq said in Skyrim that his father was also called M'aiq, just as his grandfather... so this M'aiq is the son of the M'aiq we saw in Oblivion.

But anyway M'aiq is awesome and i love him.
