The Mysterium Xarxes

The mysterium Xarxes, as I'm sure you know, was a book of extreme power and , as Martin Septim hinted, extreme evil. Now this book was originally handed down to man by Mehrunes Dagon, prince of destruction and the inveterate foe of all mortal races. Mankar Camoran then bound himself to this book to create his paradise that the hero of Kvatch then subsequently destroyed. However the fate of the book itself is unknown. A single burnt page is found in the dawnstar museum and that's mainly what this topic centres around.

The Xarxes page that can be found within the dawnstar museum, when attacked by destruction magic, transforms into a bucket. Now this could be (as is widely accepted) an easter egg, a gag placed into the game for [censored] and giggles by a bored area designer. However what if it's a hint at something more. Perhaps the Xarxes that was destroyed and partially saved by the Dunmer descendant of the mythic dawn (his name escapes me) was a fake, a transmogrified bucket made in the likeness of the mysterium xarxes well the real one was kept, hidden away untill the time the Mythic Dawn would rise again. Keep in mind the entire Camaron line was Altmer and they were not fond of the Dragonborn at all. If any of the line survived it would make sense for them to fall in with the Thalmor. Just a thought, even if it's not a DLC in the works, may be some good material for the modders among us :) Something to think about lol.

I....did not know that nailing the page with magic turned it into a bucket...

Silus is an Imperial ;)

Your theory seems plausible to me and that is a fun find indeed :D
