The Naked Nord Challenge.

any tips for sabre tooth tigers on master?

Haven't fought one yet, myself. When I do, I'll let you know. Has anyone else tried to beat a large cat to death with your bare hands? (Skyrim or otherwise XD )

BAHAHAHA this thread is hilarious....

I was a bit disappointed myself that there weren't any naked nord barbarians in the middle of the road. Let's hope they make an appearance in an expansion! :P

*goes and makes naked nord barbarian character*

If you are doing this challenge I'd advise you to find the nearest lake/ river and jump in it if you get chased by one, they basically kill you in one

The bear-traps can be deactivated, but i don't think you mean those as i'm pretty sure there aren't any in BFB. If you mean the traps such as the axes and the swinging door, no. Just dodge them.

Most of the traps have pressure plates on the floor which you can easily avoid. In fact, they're a godsend. If you run past them and get the Draugr to run into them instead, boom - DOOR IN YA FACE. As for the axes, you can sprint past them, or just simply run in between each of them. You can turn them off once you get to the other side, there's a chain on the wall. I can't remember any of the other traps in there..

Name: Erik The Stiff
Gamertag: AcidDark
Level: 5
The Naked Death: After slaying the wounded spider in Bleak Falls Barrow, a few draugr followed in death, but there was one he feared. This draugr, with his greatsword, was taunted around in a circular motion, whilst punched repeatedly to the face, but alas this one draugr had grown tired, and ended Erik's life swiftly.

I got further in Bleak falls barrow but this draugr got lucky :( I think I might have done it as well if it weren't for that medeling undead :P

Tip, hit and run is your friend in this challenge.

Figure out how long it takes for your enemies to recover from their attacks, dart in get in a few attacks, and dart back out before they recover. Also don't be afraid to run away from you enemies, heal up and go back to fight again. Some enemies are so dangerous that finding a safe spot to hide while you recover is the only viable way to fight them.

Also, I can't agree with the OP on stealth being a dangerous thing to level. I personally have found stealth to be a godsend.

Now off to find a good way to make level 12.

There should be Achievements/Trophies for this sort of thing :(

And a pacifist achievement...

Also, it might be a good idea to invest in heavy armour training for when you can wear gauntlets at lvl 18.

I started a 'caster' character and this has been the only way i've been able to kill things. Smash it in the face with a fireball - run away until it swings at me - throw another fireball at it's ugly mug - rinse and repeat. I have no other choice seeing as i'm wearing robes, and i'm not using a weapon.

Just a quick question, i'm just starting my character now so i keep reading over the rules to make sure i'm doing it right. What is the issue with lockpicking and buying/selling skewing our level? Is the challenge not to get as high a level as possible with just our bare fists? Surely we would want to level as high as possible whichever way we can?

It's not a hardfast rule, it's just that barefists/Restoration is the most "honorable" way to achieve the high level. :D

So, yeah...go lock picking crazy if you want.

Just know that when we start having more ties, I'll ask for people's Restoration skill level, as that is the next number for placing. Comprende?

or just make a rule that if caught for a crime you have to fight your way out thus it is risky to do so
