So, we've got a new wasteland to explore, but thus far no name has been given to it other than the Boston area. In the past we have had the Capital Wasteland and the Mojave Wasteland but the new land needs a name. I propose a couple of new potential names for the upcoming wasteland we will be exploring.

The Bostonian Wasteland

The New England Wasteland

The Bean Town Wastes

The Mass Wastes

Personally I am partial to the Bostonian Wasteland. What are your ideas?

I thought it was just called "The Commonwealth"?

I think just The Commonwealth Wasteland.

Based on Fallout 3, the area is simply called "The Commonwealth" by everyone, from D.C. natives like 3 Dog, to people from the Commonwealth itself, like Zimmer.

Yeah that was also my assumption, it being the last of the 16th Commonwealths still in Existence.

I might also refer to it as the Commonwealth Craphole occasionally.

Commonwealth Wasteland seems the best fit.

The Commonwealth is fine to me.

I imaine it'll be The Commonwealth, even simply 'The Wasteland' would work. Boston Wastes?

Methinks it'll be called two different things.

The Institute area is the Common Wealth. Then the city of Boston. The surrounding areas are the Commonwealth/Boston Wasteland.

I've just been calling it The Commonwealth.

The Commonwealth of the Capital Wasteland.

At the end of the game, it can be called 'The United States of Synthica'.

Obviously the Wicked Republic of Boston.

Lets see, we had;

• The Capital Wasteland (aptly conned that way by three dog.)
• The Mojave Desert (because that was the region i guess)

So i think it would either be named after its region, whatever that is for those of you familiar with boston, or just plainly "The Commenwealth" seeing it is mainly their area of reign.

I've been thinking of it as the Boston Wasteland.
