Never mind the Netch. Where did the Cliff Racers come from? That what I want to know, for reason I think we all would understand.

Better yet, how are the tiny Betty Netches more powerful and durable than the enormous Bull Netches?

Saw this somewhere else, first off, but it has something to do with both ash storms and the Velothi Mountains that separate Morrowind from the rest of Tamriel. These two factors affected the "evolution," I guess, of Morrowind fauna. That said, you couldn't necessarily pinpoint "where" the netch came from.

The Sermons suggest that netches have been around for a long time.

I wasn't trying. I was just saying that they've been around for a long time.

Think lionesses.

And, yeah, they were named after "Skate Betties" -- girls who would hang out near the half-pipes.

But lions aren't weaker than lionesses; they're just much lazier.

I've heard they float on bladders filled with magickal gas. If so, imagine their farts.

Interesting tidbit of information, sir. I didn't even know that term existed. Like "tommyknockers..."

Notice the poisonous blob they shoot at you? This isn't a joke.

Of course it's a fart. Morrowind is a very serious game.

Hmm.. The fetid green gas bursts come out without the characteristic fart sound though. I guess that would be just too obvious.

what I want to know, is what do they eat, and where are their mouths? Given that they have down-facing tendrils, I'd assume the mouth is in the middle of them, but alas-- Nope.

(Also, if Bull Netch are so lazy, could not one just tie a bunch of them together with netting, and ride on their backs? If they are as lazy as MK suggests, they wouldnt resist the process, or the bonds, as long as they had food under them.)

Wow...well that's the most potent fart I've ever seen in fiction. Except maybe that scene in "Mafia!" where that old chick blew up that hotel room.
