I can't say I'm the greatest fan of Daedra (I prefer human enemies) so no I am not especially excited about it however that doesn't mean I wouldn't love to get an idea of what they will look like.

Indeed, I can't wait to see what scamps look like. Scamps are the best things about Oblivion.

After generic landscapes (which have been shown), Daedra are the thing I've been looking forward to seeing most.

Do Golden Saints count as Daedra, or are they something else entirely?

We definitely need to see some Ogrims return. They're in Morrowind, which isn't too far away....

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but....

Its not like Oblivion stopped existing. Its just that the gates that were opening during the Oblivion Event are no longer appearing. As far as I know, they never appeared before the Oblivion Event either, but daedra still managed to find ways into Nirn.

I'm more interested in Imperials and Redguards, and of course the Mer, to be honest.

You are right. The Dragon Fire's are "eternally lit" so to speak. Meaning, daedra cannot invade or enter Tamriel of the own accord. They can still be summoned for varying lengths of time by us mortals though. Basically the way that works hasn't changed at all from previous games.

Edit* forgot to answer the question of the thread ^_^

I'm definitely excited to see the daedra. I've always been quite the fan of them. I'm most interested in seeing how the atronachs and dremora look this time around.

I'll be pretty stoked if they show some daedra at the E3 event. I hope they improve the storm atronach. I thought they looked cheesy in Oblivion

never said oblivion stopped existing.... but the daedra that were in nirn were few in numbers. and with out the gates or a means of getting to that plain how would they still be there

i guess since there immortal being they cant die from time and a few survived but with no physical way of more getting there what does that mean for the few that remain if they even remain? :obliviongate: an oblivion gate was just a conduit from one realm to another and transported them in the masses but clearly there has to be some other way for them to be there in the first place. with no way of escaping oblivion by the gates there has to be an alternate rout that they use to get though... unless they just spontaneously are born
from nothing or they grow from the moss...

Don't get me wrong however i can't wait to see how they turn out... its just a logic based question nothing more nothing less

As soon as I see a Clannfear, I'm going to take a suitably large claymore to its face... those things annoyed me in Oblivion.
