Many Fallout fans have felt particularly disenfranchised with the development of titles that didn't represent or befit the series as a whole. While it's arguable if the collective mass of Fallout fans who manifest themselves over the internet are representative of the fanbase in general, it also begs a question. In an age where the development of franchises takes almost center stage, and the development of AAA titles that are nearly always focused on casual gamers are an important goal, how does gamesas plan to stand by their motto - by gamers, for gamers?
Also, what are the plans to ignite attention surrounding the resurrection of certain names? The industry is a harsh mistress, and so are the consumers. While the likes of Mario, Croft and even Master Chief seemingly ingratiated themselves in the public, names like Earthworm Jim have fizzled out and Dark Alliance has been surpassed by its competition (then again, Gauntlet's formula isn't that tricky to pull off).
It would be very interesting to see some responses on behalf of gamesas.
One point I think is worth stressing is that, although I have no personal interest in a MMORPG that carries the Fallout name, gamesas has shown more business accumen in bringing over some of the original staff responsible by Fallout than Bethesda has, which is laudable.
