The new maps are almost here! Excited.

I've been a big fan of the MP since 360 beta 1, followed by 360 beta 2, the PC beta, and the PS3 beta. I played hours upon hours of the same 2 maps over and over again because I just love the play-style so much. It's a perfect mix of what I love in multi-player FPS games. Then the retail game came out and I played several dozen hours more.

Then I kinda hit a brickwall, as I tend to do in all shooters I crack out on--where it starts to feel a bit samey because I know the level layouts so well, I've maxed out my perks/weapon progression, and... I'm just looking for something new.

I stopped playing for a couple weeks and.. cue a few days ago when the map pack was announced, it got me hyped and made me start playing again. Turns out it's as fun as I remember, and I've already got 800 ms points in my account reserved for when this bad boy hits shortly.

I'm stoked that they're bringing the prism block into MP, as that was one of my favorite parts in campaign, along with the cool looking boat map, and the others. I'm ready to kick some ass... your ass. ;)

See ya on the battlefield!

Yeah, I hope so too. I'll definitely get some of my money's worth just goofing around with friends on the maps, like I have on previous ones. Love finding ridiculous shortcuts, exploring, etc.

If the map cycle isn't immediately fixed with the DLC, would be nice to have them at the start of the map cycle to ensure everyone gets to play them that has them. A seperate playlist would also be nice like other games sometimes do.

Not gonna buy until they release a patch that fixes matchmaking and addresses lag.

Right now I can only play 2 or 3 games before MM self destructs, which means 4 to 6 of the 12 total maps with my friends before the matchmaking collapses and kicks us all to the MP frontend menu. I'm NOT spending $10 on maps I'll probably never get to play.
