Deathclaws
Centaurs
Murelurks
Gekko's
Molerats
Spore plants

and more, I think logical is sitting this one out.

Well the explanation for them was that they were created by the Enclave to be used as weapons. (IIRC)
So the Night Stalkers should have some form of explanation to them.

There will probably be some sort of explanation in there. There has to be right? Most of the other stuff makes sense when coupled with the whole "Radiation makes things bigger" theme. But these things are actually a mishmash of animals lol.

On a side note.. I think they look ridiculous. And to think, all the designer had to do to make them look half decent was remove the stupid ears.

I don't like the way they look either. There is too much of a cartoonish feel to them.

I actually like them.
Sure they look goofy, but it's about time we got something "lol'ish".
Not every thing has to look super cool, I do like the things that are silly too. :)

They actually look more like big cats more than they do dogs because of the ears.. Also It's kinda weird seeing something that has scales AND fur lol.

Meh, they're not bad. They could have been better. But what does it matter? We're only going to see them for like half a second before we turn them into a mushy red paste anyway.

While I do love the Wannamingos' design I don't really want them in Vegas.
I mean they did become extinct by the end of Fallout 2.

Do not get him started on this topic, trust me.

Spoiler
I'm hoping the Viper gang will have a few pets or worship them in some way

I hope we can get ahold of their hides and poison glands to make some interesting stuff....

I want to keep their fangs and make a nice necklace.(I wish)

Wanamingos were a subspecies of a prolific species created by pre-war government experiments involving the weaponizing of FEV that came to dwell around the southern area of California in Fallout 2. You encounter and exterminate a small colony in Redding, but as there are different types there are unquestionably more queens. The term Wanamingo stretched to cover the entire species over time.

Hmm, you know what Grimhound, go read the Fallout Bible 0, then come back to me.
They are extinct, if you want to keep discussing this with me and tell me I'm wrong then do so after reading chapter 0 of the bible.

Centaurs show what FEV can do.
Deathclaws and Wanamingos show what genetics can do.
and to a lesser extent, Brahmin show what radiation can do.

are there wanamingos in FNV?

Would be weird and lore-breaking considering they're extinct and since Black Isle V2 is working on it.

With all respect to Mr. Avellone, I don't consider the Fallout Bible canon. It was established as a sort of structural framework, but I hold no reverence to it. If something can be included that is entertaining and can be explained, then I'm going to follow that path. Letting a pdf document limit you is silly.

I guess I'm silly then.

Of course, it's always possible to create more.
But I'd rather have them stay dead.
I mean, if there is a point in bringing them back then it's great but they just bring them back for the sake of bringing them back isn't very good IMO. :P
