The Nipton Convention

Ambassador Turner - The Kings

"Can we trust the Khans not to betray us to the Legion? I suppose I'm gonna be the one to say it? If they - I say they, I mean YOU, Blaze - have any plans on backstabbing us, we'd be in a pretty bad position for it. I'm not saying that they will, otherwise you would've been target practice by now, but we should have y'know, a contingency plan, JUST IN CASE."

Kevin Harty- Mayor of Novac

I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt, just don't give them a position or reason to attack.

Doc Mitchell - Goodsprings

Ok, so at this point the plan has been laid out, we have a meeting place and most involved have pledged they are on board. Now we just need the NCR, BoS, Enclave, GR and Followers reps to agree and get prepared.

Once this operation is over, we in Goodsprings as well as the rest of you I'm sure, have many deals and the like to discuss.

Certainly, even though Novac has dealt with most of our problems there are still improvements to be made and ways we could help the rest of the Mojave.

Ambassador Draiman-Mr. House

I don't trust him, but that doesn't mean he is an enemy.

I hope you've noticed that I'm trying not to rely on the Khans anyway, because they have a history of doing actions such as backstabbing allies, and raiding.

Quite arrogant, and doesn't understand our problem.

You call yourself "Blaze" eh? Well I have news for you. If House, and the Mojave Congress, fall, your tribe is dead meat to Caesar.

*lets loose a loud sigh*

This is no time to be worrying about your drugs, and personal blind revenge against the Legion.

Cooperate with us, and we will trust you.

OOC: I REALLY NEED SOMEONE FOR NCR. BADLY.

I agree, drugs are pointless to think about and vengeance is best done with a level head. I calmly thought through what to do when Caesar's Legion was at my doorstep dragging away my townspeople. I made allies, improved our way of living, and contributed to the Mojave as a whole until they were forced back over the river and now have no way of taking Novac unless the send all of their soldiers in the Mojave at us in the dead of night.

Now I am getting vengeacne, Operation Jacobstown is my calm, caluculated vengeance on the man who tried to starve my citizens. Now his warriors will starve.

"I was talking about the Jacobstown attack. What happens if say, they attack the mutants evacuating through Red Rock? Or, they somehow help the Legion escape through said valley or otherwise? I'm not going to put it past these guys to get high on their own supply, is what I'm saying. Now here's what I want, I want at LEAST one member of the factions here today to stay at Red Rock. You Khans shouldn't have a problem with that, you accepted that Legion Frumenwhatever didn't you? Novac citizen, Securitron, NCR, BoS Paladin, hell I'll send in a King, but I want Red Rock under watch. At least until the Legion is cleared from the western edge of the Mojave. I'm not risking Freeside to these people."

You know, House and I have been looking to put Victor to some use.

If he were taken offline or scanned any suspicious behavior, even if he would be killed or torn to pieces, House would get the packets of data and keep an eye on the Khans.

ooc- Yeah but in the last thread the list of areas that receive power in what order was made, with NCR towns at the bottom. Also in the negotiations before that the NCR was pretty much told they would be receiving the last smallest amounts possible. If Nipton doesn't have this, then they basically don't have anything to say at all during these meetings."

Perhaps we could make a multi-faction embassy-fort at the ruins of Bonnie Spings. It would give us a foothold in the region, which we are seriously lacking, and would give the Khans a babysitter.

Novac doesn't need much power anymore, we are making a river and we no longer need spotlights, you can drop us down to 12%.

Contingency you say? Seems to me, if the Khans stabbed us in the back, they would have a whole bunch of NCR, BoS, GRs, Kings, Novac militia, Securitrons and even Supermutants showing up on their doorstep. I would think preventing that would be in their best interests, then again they are the Khans. We should to send in some extra soldiers and make sure they are all on high alert just incase these drug dealers get any ideas.

It also may be wise to send a good amount of soldiers to the area around Bonnie Springs incase the Legion gets wind of our plans and moves to head off the escaping citizens.

Mayor James, Mayor of NIpton

The NCR has put as much effort into this campaign as the rest of you all robo man. I'm not asking for you to light this place up like the Strip but some power for Helios would be nice. Hell it's not like the town is that big.

The State of Utobitha lost many Nightkin in the third battle of the Hoover Dam including their leader Tabitha.
The infiltration into the dam went well, the Legion weren't expecting to be attacked from within so there wasn't many soldiers inside the structure. The Nightkin of Black Mountain were delighted to once again participate in a battle of this size and slaughtered the few Legion soldiers within the dam while only losing two.

Tabitha was the first through the exit to tell her new allies of their victory, but was shot down by multiple Legion veterans. Lobo was dismayed to see how poorly the battle on the surface had gone for the rest of the Mojave, the Legion far outnumbered the Nightkin and were spread all over the battlefield. Lobo took command of his soldiers and under the cover of their Stealth Boys, they ran for safety. The few stable Nightkin followed him and made it to the hills, but the unstable were not sated with the few Legion soldiers they found within the dam. They all stayed and they all died.

As Lobo reached the top of the hill and finally stopped long enough to look back at the carnage and confusion that his fellow mutants were creating, his face darkened, he slung his bloody Bumper Sword onto his shoulder, turned and headed for Black Mountain with some of the last Nightkin in the Mojave. They numbered just over a dozen.

Representative Lobotomite - The State of Utobitha

*At the far end of the hall the double doors of the building slam open, one of them came off of its hinges, the other still barely hanging on. Lobo walks through with a blank expression on his face, he walks to the table, takes off his Bumper Sword and sits down on a tall and thin couch that a few servers had dragged over for him while holding his Bumper Sword like a staff beside him.*

*He looks at Marcus with surprise, but the expression fades back into the neutral expression*
Tabitha is dead.

*He looks at the rest of the Congress and speaks in a low and level voice*
The State of Utobitha has been nearly annihilated, all of the unstable Nightkin who fought at Hoover dam are dead. I am the current leader of Black Mountain and I would like to know how this happened.

Marcus - Leader of Jacobstown

I'm sorry to hear of your losses, especially since our scientist at Jacobstown has recently found a cure for the nightkins' mental instability....we planned to make a peace offering to Utobitha where we would offer the cure to your nightkin, but I suppose it's too late now.

However, if you could let us use the Black Mountain radio system to help in our plan to trap the Legion in Jacobstown, it would be much appreciated.

And if you would like to move what's left of the state of Utobitha to New Jacobstown, it's alright with me, in fact we at Jacobstown would love to reunite with the mutants of Utobitha, although I can't speak for Mayor Harty and the rest of the Union of course, you'll need the approval of everyone in the Union if you choose to migrate to New Jacobstown.

Kevin Harty- Mayor of Novac

I am willing to let the electricity in Novac drop from 20% to 12%, giving 8% of it to Nipton. In exchange will the NCR give us some sort of hydro-electric generator? If we can get some sort of hydroelectri generator then we could drop the 12% down to 0%.

There were a lot more of them than we expected.

There were so many, we all have lost people in that conflict. I had a memorial service for those who died in Novac right before I came here. We made a plaque and put it a boulder outside of the cemetary we made next to our church.

Major Randall Starks - Enclave Remnants

I think they should be exterminated, they might be Legion spies.

I would happily allow the State of Utobitha to live in New Jacobstown. Or perhaps they could still live on Black Mountain and we could expand El Dorado to Hidden Valley. They could also join the Union if they wish to.

Ambassador Draiman-Mr. House

Mr. House believes that he might be able to re-activate the securitrons under the fort, but we will need lots and lots of scrap metal, as well as workers to help renovate the destroyed area.

That would be helpful, they would be able to allow House to guard Vegas with robots along with the Kings and anything that can increase our numbers is favorable.

Blaze - Leader of the Khans

Blaze slammed his fist on the desk, he was furious at the insults being directed at him.
"No deal, you either trust us or you do not. Simple as that. I would just like to make it aware that my men are clean and no one has taken any drugs since I have been in power, the punishment is death. We may supply drugs to other but that's no of your business is it? We make and sell, what our buyers does with them is their choice, supply and demand. Surely you know this, House, you claim to be a business god... If anyone other than the supermutants enter Red Rock Canyon, I will withdraw my men and stop them from using the pass."

Kevin Harty- Mayor of Novac

You cannot blame people for not trusting you, the Khans have been enemies of the NCR since they were just a small farming community.

We need to use the passage, otherwise this operation will not happen and nobody will get revenge on Caesar. If you do not agree with what we need some may to the canyon by force and you know that will be bad for the Great Khans.

Do you agree with the idea of us forming a settlement in Bonnie Spings? It would be an embassy of sorts, we could offer aid quickly if the Legion were to attack and we could also help if you are low on food or water.
