OOC: Did any mutants from Jacobstown participate in the battle at Hoover Dam?
I'd love to have you in this convention, Tycho.
Thanks
These conventions always look like fun.
IC:*Marcus stomped into the Nipton town hall, his hulking form completely filling the doorway as he entered awkwardly into the room. Eyeing the large table at the end of the room, Marcus let out a sigh, knowing that he will have a hard time fitting down in one of the tiny chairs. Nevertheless, he stomped over to the table and approached one of the chairs. Casually, he grabbed one chair and pushed it up against another, taking a seat on both chairs at the same time. Then he adjusted his headset, laid his massive arms on the table, and folded his hands.*
Hello everyone, it's an honor to be here at this meeting and as the mayor of Jacobstown I hope we can work something out to help everyone deal with these tough times.
I've seen a lot conflicts, some ended good, some bad, and we can only hope that this one will have a good ending.
*Marcus pauses for a few moments*
Jacobstown is a peaceful village - we don't have much to offer but we do have a good population of Bighorners. Good meat and valuable hides - problem is, there are a lot of Cazadors in the area, and they don't get along well with the Bighorners.
We propose building a stronger fence around the settlement and putting up a swinging gate at the entrance. We would also benefit from a few more weapons and some ammunition - we're close to running out of ammo, and no ammo means more Cazadors - more Cazadors means no Bighorners - and no Bighorners means no more Jacobstown.
We have money to offer in exchange for the weapons, and we offer Jacobstown as a safe settlement open to anyone - not just mutants.
*Marcus looks around, realizing his introduction was a bit lengthy. He keeps his composure and calmly leans away from the table, looking around for reactions.*
OOC: I'm going to bed, goodnight everyone. I'll post again around 4:00pm EST when I get home tomorrow.
