The L.A Noire excitement thread

it only flashes if you use intuition points you have saved up, they can also be used to eliminate wrong interrogation choices.

Ahh now that's what I'm talking about. I think I'll only use that in interrogations.

I really shouldn't care since it is not a PC game but L.A Noire appeared on front page of IMDb today.

Interesting to see a video game there. Although I like the previous trailer better.

Love the setting. I am very curious to see how the facegen/amimation technique works while actually playing the game.
I just hope the story matches them. And that doesn't require Steam :)

It's going to hard to require Steam if it's only for PS3 and 360 :spotted owl:

At least Max Payne 3 is coming to PC. (I searched for an emoticon but couldn't find one that would show my feelings on this. I should be thankful because they bothered, I guess.)

PS. I would prefer to see a RDR port than L.A Noire on PC.

Looks good, is it like Rockstar's other games where you can just go on a killing spree whenever you feel like or go take a helicopter and go suicide bombing? Or is it more structured?

Its more structured. I'm pretty sure you can't go on suicidal rampages.

So, The Naked City looks pretty cool. And its most definitely an homage to "The Naked City", a movie about a murdered model that they have stated they got inspiration from. Its kind of funny, I had just watched "The Naked City" right before I heard about the pre-order bonuses. Funny how things work that way.

Oooohhh.

Sounds good, just hope we don't have an abundance of points. I'll try not to use them as much as possible.
