Yeah downloading is currently disabled on nexus (although if you really want to try the beta it's still available on TESAlliance) because the full version is going to be a lot different, and I've decided to wait until it's done than keep patching it

Still need a few more voice actors, although the parts that are done are great

The mod as it is is compatible with Snowdale

Voice acting is going extremely well, got a couple of new people on board and I was very impressed with their auditions. Still no idea of a v1 release date, but it's getting there now

Thanks to all voice actors for their interest, the casting for male voice actors is now finished, I'm actually having to expand a few quests to make ample parts for everybody

Female parts still available, due to the difficulty of finding female voice actors I think this is what the release lies on. Male voice acting is well underway with the majority of smaller parts and a lot of main parts either finished or underway, and there is only a small amount of work left to be done on the mod itself

Are there any male falsettos? Maybe they could fill in for the missing fems.

Haha maybe so

Actually had FOUR new male voice actors audition today, which is both good news and bad news

Good news is, well, more voice actors = more variety. Bad news is there are no male parts left

Which leads me needing to expand the mod. Well, I needed a reason, and it gives me something to do whilst searching for a female voice actor

Well, there ya go. Expect more quests in the full release! Back to work I go :ahhh:

Well I've come to a decision anyway. The majority of the male voice acting has been recorded, just waiting on a few parts. v1 of the mod will be released with full male voice acting, no female

Not really an issue. Anyone who's played it will know the majority of characters are male, there is a central female character and a few smaller parts, but I think it'll be fine without them

You can still get the old version http://www.invision.tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/files/file/548-the-northern-front/

Male voice acting has been fully recorded, just waiting on female. The mod itself is finished, I just havn't had time to add the voice acting lately cause I'm working on my TESA halloween entry

The Northern Front will be released sometime in late November/December with full male voice acting and whatever female voice acting has been completed. I promise that

Yeah but it's not just a random cluster of people fighting for no reason, I like the allure of peasant militia and rival lords, there's quite a bit revolving around that in this mod

Yeah, I'm surprised with the talent that stepped forward to work on this mod, they all did an awesome job. Been a lot of fun adding the voice acting and seeing the characters come to life

Well seen as Skyrim's been announed I see no reason in dragging this release on any further. I've had some IRL problems that have stopped me modding or being online at all really... so I didn't stick to releasing it by Novermber. It'll be done if a couple of weeks or so, depending on how busy my christmas and new year is
