So the Nvidia 670 4GB Vram is too weak for this game?

I've been having a lot of crashing issues. Basically I never went beyond character creation because the game would crash. Installing the latest Nvidia driver and Fallout 4's beta patch made no difference.

The only way I solved this was to forget about my monitor's native resolution of 2560x1440 and play at 1600x900. This way I played for hours, without a single crash!

I thought it would be less taxing on the graphics card if I played at 2560x1440 with no AA rather than at 1600x900 with full AA, but seems I was proved wrong.

I also thought my graphics card was future proof (especially with 4GB of Vram)... but it seems I was wrong here too!

I have the 2GB version of the same card. It still does an adequate job in Armored Warfare, GTA V, Far Cry 4 and Anno 2205, but as of today, FO4 has defeated it.

I've so far managed to get approx 6 hours in, but have had 15+ apparent driver failures that Win 10 has recovered from.

I don't OC any part of my system, and as of yet, haven't had the need to. So what say you Bethesda?

Same sorta thing here as what the previous posters describe. I have tried all the graphics presets and the geforce experience preset and have gotten driver failures in all of them. I have used the latest driver 358.91 and the previous 358.87 with all the presets too and still get a driver failure. In the low, medium and high presets the vram usage was at least 500mb from the vram limit too.
