The Old Burying Ground

Post » Tue Mar 22, 2016 7:26 am

I am sure most have stumbled across the raider kneeling down next to an open grave with a dead raider in it. Apon doing some research I think that Grave site is to represent the old burying ground cemetery in Boston.

It’s near Cambridge and those pillars I believe represent the patriots’ grave in the old burying ground cemetery. Just a another cool little tidbit Bethesda threw into the game to make it even more awesome.

Are you talking about the old granary burying ground? If so, that's in a different location in the city. It's in the middle of a courtyard somewhere. You'll find lots of little "old burying grounds" in F4. If you google map that phrase you'll see that MA. has a lot of them named "[someone's] old burying ground" . I'm not sure which one that one by the railroad tracks with the raider kneeling in it is supposed to represent or even if it's supposed to represent any of them. Could be an old family plot type cemetery just out in the woods somewhere. At any rate, there are lots of cemetery's in F4 to come across but that one is one of the saddest.. or most interesting depending on how you look at it. That raider will not attack you unless you get too close. You can stand at a relatively close distance and watch them mourn their fallen comrades. I decided not to kill that raider and just leave them be. It was a nice rare moment.
