The sarcasm is strong with this one...

In all honesty though, I like the way Skyrim is heading, although I'd give up the idea of Children for something else, just because of it looking silly, we haven't seen a child Orc before and likely it'll be "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!" *Goes outside and pukes* Unless they work it out in some way that they look alright. But saying that aswell we haven't seen a child Orc, so it make be awesome. Edit: Probably like the rest of Skyrim it is guaranteed awesome.

I would GLADLY give up voice acting for more complex quests.

Eh? Oblivion put in voice acting and had the most interesting and complex quests of the entire series. This one confuzzles me.

I'd give up console support for a more quality experience on PC. Yes, I know people are going to bite my head off now.

me too actually (kinda because I know why people feel this way)

its hindsight. no one was complaining (well there was bound to be some one, but an extreme minority and certainly not people typicly familiar with the series) because it was a huge leap for the series. people may not like the voice acting as much now as they play while waiting for SK but thats because the quality of voice acting in the modern games they have been playing along with OB are better, because they are modern and more expertly developed. Theres no doubt voiceacting will improve, at least imo.

Xbox can't though, "parity of systems" remember.

Bethesda has gotten around the problem another way by changing the audio compression. Disk space was the only thing limiting depth of spoken dialogue and that had to scrap more than 50% of the dialog they had written from OB because it wouldn't fit on the disk.

Over 50%? Weak, dude... just weak...

Hope the audio compression rates are enough to do it this time.

Yeah and even after they cut 50% of the dialog, Oblivion still had more dialogue than Morrowind. So for those out there that say voice acting is limiting to dialogue where text based isn't, Oblivion had voice acting and more dialogue.

Even if BGS can't implement all they want, at least the Creation Kit will be available for people to make use of and be creative with.

ahhh! sould crushing. Bretons are my favourite. I wouldn't even trade off any race for something I wanted because I know it would really ruin it for alot of other people.

That's like saying "I would remove oranges and replace them with a extra 50 armor types."

I'd give up the HUD compass/quest pointer for introvert NPCs, who would sometimes ignore player instead of reacting/greeting/attacking (the NPCs might look at or hear the player, but choose to ignore & not do anything)

I would give up a lot more real life money, to have all the features we want, and have the game released sooner.

Otherwise, I would give up finishing moves, to have a differentiated mages guild (each magic-school has their own quest lines and advancements)
