Hmm. I would have to say the ability to play music with various instruments, as another one of those fun little diversion activities. :)

Well Todd did say we can do anything NPC's do and there is an NPC with a lute in the trailer.

you are misunderstanding the OP.

Vampires and werewolves have not been confirmed as "gone"

But chances are, they aren't in. If they were, I'm pretty sure we would have at least seen some hints at them.

I would be very surprised if vampirism was not included in Skyrim, considering the lore about Ice Vampires as well as the fact that they have been in almost every TES game.

I would not be so surprised if werewolves are not included, but even werewolves are not so unrealistic as to assume that they would not be in.

In any case, don't really care about werewolves but I do want there to be vampires in Skyrim.

That's true! I totally forgot about that NPC in the tavern. This gives me hope, would make for some sweet bard role-playing.

Post here what you want but know will never be in-game or has already been confirmed as gone. Post why you would want it or just simply post it without reason.

M-Rated material in a darker setting and narrative
- no shying away from topics such as slavery, racism, and political oppression and dissent.
- illicit substances with actual effects. I want skooma to make my screen go 18 different flavors of psychadellic, and I'll risk addiction and ill effects for the privilege.
- Allow characters to participate in moral decisions with this darker material. Let them consume / deal illicit substances and avoid (or be) the law. Allow them be a heroic rescuer of slaves, or a cold heartless slave hunter.
- blood & gore

Weapons
- Crossbows & thrown weapons
- Spears

More Factions
- Witch covens (a la Daggerfal)
- Bankers / Mercantile Guilds
- Civil Services Guild (managing an empire takes work and able bodies!)
- Scholars (of the non magic variety)
- Temple (a la Morrowind)
- Differing local political factions (in the spirit of the Houses of Morrowind)

Repeatable Semi-Random Quests (Combined with substantially slower level / faction progression)

A population of 50% Dunmer. :P

Crossbows and throwing weapons.

Open cities.

Deep, Bioware/Julan Kaushibael-style companions.

Character appearance customization so intricate that Michelangelo would weep to see it.

Birthsigns. In real life I give no credence to astrology, but it was really cool in the lore and I would have liked to see it expanded rather than cut.

Yes. During character creation we pick a race and our our look and that's it. Racial bonuses are still in though.

You mean 1 variation for each Race/Gender (20) and then 100 Types of Armor?

You know, we may actually already have the "20" part...

I got another one though.

Not so much "Perfect", but a high degree of balance within the game. Bethesda's games are notorious for having a "Win the game" bias build into them. (Morrowind was Sujamma spam, Oblivion was Backpedaling for great justice, and Fallout 3 was Dart Gun, or Sneak+Sniper Rifle). Maybe it's too soon to call this "Out" or "Impossible" but I'll go the extra mile. I'd rather be wrong here, than hope for anything better.

Oh, loads of 'random events' ala RDR you can across in the wild. I know we have radiant story to make things a bit more random insofar as quests go but it'd be nice to have small little events happening as you move through the world that aren't related to any quest. You can help/hinder or just watch these things unfold. ^_^

Custom gear appearance details on craftable gear.
Hand 2 Hand weapons (spiked gauntlets, cestus, etc.)
Plenty of arrows
Torchmaces (Mace with a slot to add a torch)
Balance for crafting so rogues can make custom stuff (bows & arrows, light armor) other than just potions. (Warriors can make metal weapons & heavy armor, mages ENCHANT-huge advantage)

Shivering Isles, just to see the coast of Mania at night again.

This. I absolutely loved the sky on the Mania side, night and day it was beautiful.

An elaborate system to handle music the way Daggerfall did. I know, weird, but to me music is part of the mood of an environment, and depending, it can pull you right in. So to have music for say times of day, weather, region, etc.
That and dynamic cloth. Again, nothing major, but it would be nice. Especially for things like cloaks, capes, robes, etc.

Maybe the return of wereboars too.

So you want to turn this into Gears of War. No thanks.

I also want EA to own Bethesda, so they'll rush the development time of the game and produce a piece of crap.

Awesome.
