for Skyrim i honestly can't think of anything i dislike straight out:
May i be bold and refresh you:
- Generic missions picked by your 2 higher skills. It means your character will basicaly walk a corridor in skill reward, harder to be an hybrid "class" not because its more rewarding or you wish, but because you end up shackled by the system.
- Everytime a generic mission is given the AI will look at where you ve been and sent you somewhere you havent been a clear time sinking and a bit killer of suspension of disbelief and a clear pain in the ass in long term. I hope this only has a % of kicking in.
- The above allied to frozen bracked LVL if places, the game froze a bracket of lvl arounf the lvl you are the first time you get in.
This allied with a randoneer system, sendig you to everywhere can be a limiting factor in how much the game is rewarding for middle to high level PC.
There s also a paradox, it send you to wander around, while at the same time it punishes you if you wander too much because the game will freeze in low lvl. And it looks a lot like the scaling lvl we seens and hated so much in OB, it seems they couldn t let loose the failed system and had to imput it in some way.
All these damage is otencial only and based on information we ve oficially got. I hope bethesda is smarter than that, but past has shown bethesda can be very smart and very dumb.
if this sadly come true it also shows they have a problem at looking at the game system in a integrated way, which can cause potential problem with gameplay.
- Generic system blending weaponry and armor use to a non important factor in the game.
- Jerkish Diablo skilltree like system instead of a natural flowing reward system. It will certainly generate a killing in the imersion.
- Lesser skill revolving basicly in the unwill to implement situation of skill use in the game. A clear tendency to remove instead of fixing.
And some more not so relevant.
