So before everyone starts flaming me and saying I'm just hating fallout 3 for no reason, let me say that I loved fallout 3 and enjoyed about 90% of everything it had to offer. but there's one thing that STILL annoys me to this day. and that is the gigantic plot hole at the end. alright, picture this: you're at project purity after you just killed Autumn and you have to activate Project Purity in order to stop it from being destroyed. with you, you have a friendly supermutant who can pretty much eat radiation for breakfast. when you ask him to activate PP instead of you doing it and getting killed by rads, he gives you a lame excuse about it being your "destiny" to die. now do you see why I'm so bothered by this? I mean come on, Bethesda. It's my "destiny"? That's just lazy writing. and even if you do have the option to have fawkes do it with broken steel, the game chastises you for not dying. I guess what I'm trying to get at here is that Itfeels like Bethesda spent a lot of time on 90% of the story and at the end they were like, "screw it, lets just throw in some crap about the players destiny and be done with it." which, needless to say, really bugged me especially considering what an amazing game FO3 was overall.
