I find Deacon very entertaining all around. He's pretty much my favorite companion, though I have yet to pick up the mayor of Goodneighbor as a companion.

Well he did say he once had surgery to make him look like a woman so...

By far the best companion as far as I'm concerned dialogue wise.

MacReady is constantly being alternatively whiny or complaining.

Cait - okay, I love her too, but she's a bit rough around the edges.

Piper - so perky it hurts!

Danse - ever so serious, except when he's being all "sensitive"

Hancock - okay, the guys an a**hat. Can't stand him. Even his dialogue gets on my nerves.

Strong - dumb as a post, and he'll hit you with it too!

Codsworth - if a robot can be a hypocrite, he's it. Some of his jokes are pretty funny though.

Curie - I'd date her, but she's not a very good companion.

Did I miss anybody?

Oh! Dogmeat! Who's a good boy! You are! Good boy dogmeat... No! Don't push me off that... AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Splat...

He's one of my favorite companions, like his upbeat personality.

LOL....I found that funny...then annoying. Everytime he'd get hit...OWWWww......

After the initial quest with him, I told him to go home. I don't like to use companions. Never have.

I'm under the impression that he's faking the pain, since he's a chronic liar. No one else really complains, not even the tactically weaker companions.

It sounds more to me that he's pretending or mocking the enemy who shot him.

Like saying "Ouch ouch! Nah, lol, it's nothing."

If I didn't know Deacon better, I would've been under the impression that he was drunk.
