Nope, I kill them to.

Nothing worthwhile comes from them, even if I do side with them I end up shooting up the NCR Correctional Facility anyway.

I only help them in three ways:

Spoiler
Giving Boxcars Med-X, Helping Free The Powder Gangers from the Legion, and partly helping them in I Fought the Law until I side with the NCR to take back the NCRCF.

Yeah...I always kill em off. I didn't even bother with "I fought the law" this time. I shot the place up before I even remembered that quest line...LOL

I make an exception for the Gangers hiding out in Vault 17(?). I always let the Khans go to Wyoming to make a nation, and I let those guys go with them.

New Vegas contains a certain number of rabbits to provide appropriate nutrition, sustenance and killing practice to young, developing predatory couriers. They are rabbits. I feast*. Always.

* figuratively- I don't play cannibal characters.

Well, you're clearly not the only one. I side with them or against them depending upon the character. Pretty much any roleplay is open for me.

Actually, on my current playthrough I DID side w/ The Powder gangers.
Usually I would help Ringo, yada yada yada.
This time I brought my wrath upon the unknowing citizens of GoodSprings, but after I kill sunny smiles and all the citizens I then turned my pistol on the gangers.
Got a WAY better pay out killing everyone than simply siding with one or the other.

Really the only reason I wiped them from existence was the fact that GoodSprings really has nothing to offer after that first quest, plus it only affected my rep in GoodSprings, no where else.
So I may be "villanized" but by who? A building? There's no one left to hate me.... I killed em all

Oh I tend to chat with them, pull out a hunting shot gun & pump tiny lead fragments through their intestines.

Their friends disagree so I tend to throw a hatchet at them. The good part of this is that I can then rip their body parts off & store them in my home for future eating.

I've always sided with Ringo and as a result, every Powder Ganger who has gotten close enough to detect me has died.

I always fight them, cause I don't like them. I kill them every chance I get, whether I'm playing a good or evil character.

I kill the ones at the NCRCF and Goodsprings, but I have the Vault 19 ones join the Great Khans.

Tried siding with them on my latest playthrough, but their questline got boring fast, and Eddie's a [censored] so I just cleared them out when the NCR stormed the NCRCF.

I've only sided with the Powder Gangers once, all the other times though I killed them.

I don't help them in Goodsprings, nor do I kill them but still finish the Ghost town Gunfight quest.
I help them in I Fought The Law quest and kill them all afterwards, stealthily to keep my rep => Liked.
I kill all the NPCs in the Vault apart from the named ones, who I send to join the Khans

This. Minus Boxcars. I talk to him enough to the point that I get the quest for the Legion camp that has a couple hostage, depending on what Im doing at the time, I either go there right away or wait til I have Boone with me, then I put a few shots into Boxcars' head. Better for him that way

I have taken to ignoring the Powder Gangers while in Good Springs. It can help with some quests down the road. Of course, once those are done, I go back to Goodsprings to have a chat with the Gangers there.
