Am I the only one who finds a two player multiplayer a good

So one thing I know is a very touchy subject in these forums is the word 'Multiplayer'. But does anyone else find the option of being able to play alongside a friend a good idea? Now, before you start going 'I DONT WANT NO RANDUM FOKES PLAYIN WIT MIE!', that's the beauty of it, you could play with people that are on your friendslist, or something to this extent. But anyway, for me personally, I always thought it'd be a cool idea if you could travel alongside a good friend or something and not worry about random people joining to PK you.

I never thought someone so well established around here would not know this already exists :P

I like the idea of it but I don't like the implications on my quests.
Kind of like how DR2s multiplayer was, I would have finished that ages ago if not for multiplayer and people not following me to loading doors, if I wanted to go see, House per say, and I had to wait for my friend, who wanted to visit the Omertas....The conflict would be a pain since neither would want to become 2nd, would result in a Strip massacre
