So I've been playing Skyrim for almost 93 hours and I'm having a couple problems in the main quest and side quests. Let me explain. I'm a level 27 Orc Warrior and I can't kill things I should be able to kill. I have a skill of 53 in one handed (I dual wield orcish war axes) and a skill of 47 in light armor (Hide cuffs, fur skirt thingy and leather boots [primarily 'cause it looks cool) and I'm to the point were you have the options of killing the gray-beards leader (the dragon guy who used to work for the main bad guy) or to just not recieve help from the blades. I decided to kill the dragon. I got to the Throat of the World and had a little chat with the leader and he didn't try to kill me when I told him I was gonna kill him? So I decided I'd just take a swing at 'em anyways. He just sat there and I don NO damage to his health at all... NONE. So I kept swinging and finally his health went down all the way but he didn't die. He just sat there. Also some of the main quest guys won't talk to me, like the stormcloak officer who reminds me of Victor Resnov. I went to talk to him 'cause I finished my previous mission from him. I went to report in and I did, problem is there's no option for another mission and he didn't tell me to go anywhere... Am I done? Is that how it ends? I'd like a little help from anyone who can help me or just let me know if I'm the only one with these problems? Is it my disc? My PS3? I mean I ain't complaining, I'd just like help.

I had the same issue with him. I was using a bound sword and could damage him down to 0 but he wouldn't die. I don't know maybe you need to use dragonbane ( I think that is what it is called the sword the blades give you). I decided he was to cool and he had helped me so I decided not to kill him. I did complete the main quest though so not a requirement.

No worries, all has been fixed

I elected to not kill him, however, my progression with Delphine has dead locked until I kill him. So, my current run-through will take the alternate route.
