Damn, this doesn't look very different at all?

A few bumpy bricks for tessellation, a few nicer textures, that's about it.

The majority of the textures seem the same to me, as well as the water still looks like DX9.

I waited several months to play this game on this patch, and once again, I'm disappointed.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Maldo's 3rd party high res texture pack looks a lot better, and it seems to cover a lot more ground.

1920x1080, all settings maxed, 50 frames constant (I used to get 60 constant, but the patch seems to have put the cap at 50, awesome!) and it still looks average.

The only immediate difference I noticed is how I went from 60FPS to 50FPS. Why would there be a 50FPS cap? I'll never know.

Back to waiting on BF3.

I also have a hard time noticing any significant changes. That might actually be an indication for how good looking the game already is, or an indication for how the graphical upgrade makes no significant difference between patch 1.9 and patch 1.8. I'm not very happy to say the least.

A lot of people overhyped DX11 way too much. I dont know what people were expecting..

I personally see a big difference between DX9 and DX11, the graphics just look .. "alive" now. Granted it takes a toll on performance but its well deserved, at least for SP.

whats nice is the colors in the game have been reworked a lot and they seem a lot more realistic, and a lot of that has to do with the dx11 hdr upgrade

Can anyone post some comparison between the textures? we all know the DX11 features, now show us some texture comparisions.
