Am I the only person sad enough to know who Ulysses is?

Also does anyone know if he will appear in LR?
Going on the Dead Money quote *SPOILERS* "Two couriers fighting under an ancient flag, each bearing a message for the other."

He will be in a place.

For now I think that place is a place that we do not know of.

Lonesome Road is based entirely around Ulysses so it should be full of Ulysses and Courier info.

I know he was a cut companion and that his symbol is EVERYWHERE in Old World Blues. And I'll bet there are hints in Honest Hearts too :/

But that doesn t tell us who he is.

Originally there were 7 intended couriers and Ulysses was #7 and was meant to be the one who pulled you out of the grave and he was intwnded to be a game-long companion but when bethesda ran this version of New Vegas, there were too many inconsistencies so Ulysses was cut.

His "symbol" is the flag of the old world. Of course it's everywhere in Big Mountain.

Ulysses was a cut companion, and obviously there is his house in New Vegas.
Since he used to be in the main game there will be quests that cross between LR and the main game.

Most people with the dlc should he's been talked and hinted about for ages Nash in Primm when asked about your past, Christine Dog/God and Elijah in DM all have a line or two, Grahams mention of a courier and the divide in HH, and theres several holo tapes along with lines from the think tank specifically Klien and 0 as well as Dr Mobious. Really youd either have to not be paying attention or skip a lot of dialouge. All the previous dlc have been building up to our confrontation with him in LR it was quite a good way to tie all the dlc together and made me look forward to each one more and more glad LR will be out in August so we can finally learn what its all been about.

I believe he was refering to the marking placed at certain locations where supply stashes can be found its an actual hand drawn mark of the old world flag facing downward.

Tel Prydain Posted Ulysses was a cut companion, and obviously there is his house in New Vegas.Since he used to be in the main game there will be quests that cross between LR and the main game.

Theres no reason to think any quests will cross or that wolfhorn ranch which was to be his home has any real meaning now he was cut and most likely altered from his original concept much like the elements fron Van Buren where Graham is a far cry from who he was in the Van Buren design documents so its very likel that Ulysses was also changed. Also the base game and dlc can't interact so at most we'd get a few lines of dialouge mentioning things in the Mojave that would be the same regardless of allegiance or quest completion.
