The Package

Post » Tue Jul 06, 2010 8:36 pm

Would it not be awsome if at the end of the game you find out you were a Talon Company mercenary from The Capital Wasteland and you had killed The Lone Wanderer and the package was his or her severed head that you were delivering to your boss. Anyone else have cool package ideas?

Well...while I'm sure some people would find that an interesting twist, and it is thinking out of the box, I think it would just annoy most people. (and most of us here already know what the package is anyway, sooo...)

should I look at the spoiler to see what's in the package, like is it like a huge twist or a big spoiler or anything?

Since it's developer confirmed, I can't imagine it's gonna be much more than the thing that leads into the actual quest.

It wouldn't matter to be honest. It's revealed in the Intro, And it's only like 1/4 1/5 of the story.

It's funny how a lot of Fallout 3 fans are going the way of some of the more extreme Fallout 1/2 fans, and desperately clinging to their Fallout like this. :D

I bet it's some sort of data chip. Since microchips are not in the fallout universe, maybe being a platinum chip it has something engraved onto one side, perhaps it's a miniature record that when fed into a computer has some important information.

It is a bit funny to watch. As someone who was introduced by F3, and played the old ones afterwards, (many, many, times over.) it's amazing watching each type of fan cling to one thing or another. It's like a downward spiral. :tops:

I just hope that it isn't referred to as "the package" for the entire game. It'd be very awkward to play a game in which my character runs all over the wasteland asking people if they've seen his package.

its 3 dog here! and its time for some news!

this one comes to us by a trader from out west. it seems there is a perverted hero wandering the desert, he saves the town, refuses their payments of gratitude and only asks a question in return, have you seen my package?

I don't know whats wrong with this kid but they need to learn to keep their package in their pant.

this is 3 dog! and that was the news.
