Whilst slashing and pillaging through the sun Drenched Hills of Cyrodiil, I, as well as many of you, couldn't help but notice that my foes, be they Nord or Argonian, Vampire or Bandit, Really weren't gifted in the Creative Taunts and Insults department. I didn't notice at first of course, but 15 hours in it began to get on my nerves.

So Question Time! Do you think they remedied that situation since there are more Voice actors and lines of dialog? Or are we doomed to hear the same unoriginal one liner repeated over and over into Oblivion? (No Pun Intended)

In addition, post YOUR creative one liners that you think would be appropriate.

Vote options are biased. Fix them, please. Along with that, add an "I don't care" option.

Edit: Where's the "Hopefully not" option? I love hearing "You N'wha!" and "Stu-pid!" every single fight!

Haha, I've always thought that one is hilarious. Although I wouldn't mind if the taunts were much less frequent, and maybe actually intimidating.

Hopefully they've just eliminated the battle taunts all together. We're not playing Monkey Island.

I only hope they made the Taunts more fearsome, and brutal. Can't see even why people want to remove the battle taunts. (Awkward silence while fighting... Not gonna work)

I think it was... amusing that all the races had custom insults except for redguards

and, everyone's favorite -
"I'VE FOUGHT MUDCRABS MORE FEARSOME THAN YOU!"

Hopefully... but I'd consider "fixed" to be the removal of the overwrought, frequently absurd taunts altogether. If NPCs must yell things during battle, I'd rather they were much shorter; preferably 1-3 words only. And yes, much more varied. I'm sure the veritable army of voice actors they've hired this time will see to that, at least.

Here are some suggestions for more tolerable mid-battle dialogue:

"Die!"
"Die, [race]!"
"Death!"
"Death to you!"
"Azura*!" (*or any appropriate Daedroth/Aedroth)
"Skyrim!" (for Nords)

Screams, shouts, and the usual attack/hit sounds should make up the vast majority, though. It's beyond awkward to be saying things like "I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than you!" mid-swing. Especially when it's always the same damn voice.

I kinda liked the cheesy one liners in Oblivion I hope there are fresh ones for Skyrim though.
"Damnit, I should've fought more mudcrabs!"
"Stop...blocking...me...you...asshat!"
"I'm gonna hit you so hard that you're BRAINS WILL LEAK FROM YOUR EARS!"
"Think faster, old man!" (If your character is old)
"Should've stayed at home eating sweetrolls, fatty!" (If your character is fat)
"They'll have to put you back together...in Oblivion!"
