The Pitt Photos

Post » Thu Dec 09, 2010 11:15 am

Hey guys, I got to thinking about what scenes from the game looked like compared to real life and since I'm in the burgh, I thought I'd snap a few pics. I was only able to do three tonight, I'll do more later. I posted them on my now defunct blog page. http://thespitoon.wordpress.com/

Sweeeet. I love pictures. It's also fun comparing them and they do look pretty similar. And since Fallout is a parallel universe and all...Anyway I was thinking (and this is all from the first photo) that the second building on the left looks similar to second on the left in the fallout photo. And that the first on the left looks similar to the one all the way on the right in the Fallout photo. Of course there building and I could be just be reading way to far into this...

It was nice to see the similarities and differences, I wish people would do this more often.

P.S. I would totally stand in the center of the street to get those camera angles :P

I love photography, this is awesome.

I remember one time I was trying to get a 360 panorama in Yosemite. I was standing on top of a rock no much bigger than 14 inches by 14 inches taking these tiny tiny steps so I could turn around. I almost fell too.

God I love photography and high places.

Good to see you both, thought you disappeared on me.

Thanks for taking the time to get these photos, Spitt! It's nice to see the in game and actual architecture compared side by side to see what the developers did.

And that doll just lying in the cathedral, is quite creepy, though it reminds me of silent hill. And that makes me kinda of mad.

Anyway, thanks again for getting these photos, and believe or not, I misspelled six words in this paragraph.

Yttrium and Ant-

Thank you both for the compliments. It means a great deal that work is appreciated.

You don't have to respond to this, but I had to put my dog down last Monday night so I've been kinda 'not myself' this week. I've been lurking on the board but really couldn't think of anything to say. I'm also working my a$$ off to get these comics out. Soon, they're coming soon.

Yttrium- I didn't even notice the spelling! :)
