The Pitt Stinks

The only thing I don't like about the Pitt was the Arena. It was crazy easy to me, so easy that I reloaded to the start of the pit fights to a higher difficulty setting. I wish that there were more fights, like Oblivion. As for battling in there, I take one Buffout, one Rad X, and go at it with Spiked Knuckles through the entire dealio.

What really bugged me is that the OP said that the events happening in The Pitt are highly unlikely to happen in a realastic setting yet he says Mothership Zeta is awesome.
Personally I think The Pitt fits perfectly in the Fallout Universe in a pretty simple way of a city, controlled by raiders/slavers and a slave uprising against their masters.
While he says Mothership Zeta is awesome, does he not see the flaws of realism in its story?
So basically the OP has been doing a little too much pshyco lately.

Ok, got to say this.

When it said arena the first time I waded through the hell that is The Pitt.

I was thinking, oh, this could be good in this hellhole, loads of enemies to kill, like 5 rounds or something.

And it was 3 easy fights.

I am not some kind of dificulty obsessive.

But three easy fights, does not a arena make.

In a way I am glad it is only 3 fights, because the quicker you get out of The Pitt the better all round.

But 3 easy fights is a bit weak, even for that dlc.

If you want an arena play Oblivion or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl.

Pitt was a short, ambiguous, pretty, quest DLC.

I found the Pitt really hard, but I get the feeling it must have been due to Mods making stuff tougher.

I really liked the Pitt and I would`ve liked it to be even harder actually. I thought it was a little too easy for a slave to wander around. I feel I should`ve been stopped several times and even kicked around a bit for not working. I really liked the difficulty decisions towards the end you had to make that gave bad karma either way. Very realistic as often in life there are only greys, no obvious good or bad - And yet you still must make a decision.

I find deleting karma notifications so I can`t see it makes it much easier to make decisions (like real life) without some angel\devil on my shoulder saying "You just did good- You just did bad!" I wish FO3 had hidden the Karma thing by default personally.

I did like the Pitt very much. It's second to Point Lookout imo. I liked the grey areas. As for karma, I just do whatever the character decides to do, and never pay attention to karma anymore. I also never look at that one stat page. I agree, I wish they had hidden karma as well. By training myself to not care or look at the karma, sometimes it's surprising when people react to me differently than I thought they would. For example, my previous character had been slaving all over the wastes, and yet... the other day he was approached by that one settler in Megaton and given 15 rounds of 10 mm.... was a bit of a surprise.
