OOC: Lone wanderer, you just completely took a power trip, skipped through an entire part of the story. You even ignored the fact that ONLY I can control my own character. You just completely blew it. I am not tolerant to people like this. Unless you learn to RP, you're out.

Ashur, waking up to see one of the drunk guards, was angered. The guard proceeded to slap Sandra and pull the gun on her. Ashur then ran towards the assailant, pulling away the weapon, Ashur twisted the mans arm, grabbed the pistol, and shot him in the fore-head.

"Sandra, are you okay?"
Sandra nodded.
" Get me some janitors and have them clean up this mess"
Ashur and Sandra then left the quarters and went back to their original routine.

Matthias and Clay were getting the apartment spruced up. Clay had decided to take the room with a view of Downtown, while Matthias opted for the view of Uptown and Haven. Posters lined the walls of Matthias' room, the usual American patriotic stuff, he'd even bought a Nuka-Cola machine. Clay simply had a bed, two lamps, and a desk. The two had to share the weapons locker that was hidden in the wall and could be accessed in the blink of an eye.

"Well, that ought to do it!" said Matthias in a cheerful voice, taking a puff of a cigar he had bought. Clay lit his own cigar and nodded in agreement.

"Sure was nice of Ashur to let us keep this place, huh? But to think we found it during combat, hah!" said Clay, "Well, I think I'm gonna go out for a walk in Downtown, I think our shift starts tonight."

"Alright then, I'll be here, probably just drinking and listening to the radio shows. Also, Sydney's coming by later, so be quiet when you come in, K?" said Matthias. Sydney was a lovely young brunette woman, with the most chocolate brown eyes ever. Her skin was like silk, and with soft brown tan.

"Well, alright, but remember to be ready by tonight's shift Matt." And with that, Clay walked out the door, down the stairs, and into Downtown. Matthias grabbed a beer, lit a cigarette, and turned on the radio. After about 30 minutes he got bored, so he got out his old Tribal knife and polished it.

What a beauty, the handle had etchings in the wood and leather, it looked fearsome. But again, Matthias was bored, so he decided to freshen up a bit. He took a nice hot shower, making sure he was squeaky clean for his date with his sweetheart. As he stepped out and dried off, Matthias truly noticed his tattoos. The orange, red, and yellow swirls and various designs that covered his torso, back, thighs and some of the right side of his face.

He'd left this past behind him though. He had a better place in the Pitt now. Matthias got dressed in some casual attire, and went back to listening to the radio.

Ashur, waking up the next morning, only to hear the wind blow, went to his sink, and began to shave. After the task was done, he proceeded to put on his signature power armor.

Going down the elevator to the Pitt control room, he saw that Chief of security Andrew was standing there, relaying co-ordinates to radio operators.

"Good to see you Andrew, how has life been treating you?"

I looked up at Ashur and I smiled softly, "Oh, I guess it's been fine Lord Ashur. Recently I've been having to deal with an injury... I don't know if you would've heard of it, I got shot in the head by some idiot raider I believe... I don't really know, but either way, now I find it VERY hard to think and remember things," I shrugged, "but, that's life for you. I'm trying hard but I had to come back here to get away from the front lines, I don't want someone to get hurt because I make a stupid decision."

I looked at Ashur and I fully grinned, "I must say, in that power armor, who the hell would want to defy you of an order? I should ask you the same question, how has life been treating you Lord Ashur? I understand someone tried to hurt Sandra..." I trailed off, wondering how Ashur would take to this news.

William was brooding in his apartment after getting released from the hospital. All of it wasn't supposed to happen, if he had just been fast enough! But there was no use doing that now, he had to get even with those raider scumbags. There was only one was to resolve this, he had to take action. William went off and started arming himself to the teeth with machine guns, assault rifles, explosives and loaded it all in a large bag. Then he went looking for volunteers. At the end of the day he had himself the toughest and most elite troops of PLA this side of the pacific. Marveling at his work, he knew that Ashur would not approve of it but he would strike deep into raider territory and hit them were they thought they were safe.

Ashur replied to Andrew:

"It was that imbecile guard, who was it, damn, I forgot, it was one of the guards, the new recruits from the wastes. Tried to attack me while drunk. I put a bullet in his head. I would rather forget about it, but thanks for actually noticing. I don't know if that is a good thing though"

William then unveiled his most powerful weapon, the thing that would send the raiders running in fear. It was a type-99 tank brought in from China itself. It sported a 125mm gun and had a top speed of 80km per hour. The armor was equally as advanced and could take many hits. Unfortunately fuel and ammo was difficult to find so he would have to carefully manage the supplies he had now. He drove the tank out with astonished citizens watching as the tank made its way out of the city. They were stopped at the gate by some guards stating that Lord Ashur was not letting anyone leaving the city until the raider threat was neutralized. However he simply pushed through them as he had his own plans for killing the raiders. His force consisted of a single platoon of infantry, all armed with Type-95s instead of the usual 5.56mm chinese assault rifles that were easier to find in the wasteland. That and the tank were sure to bring down the raiders, however , no one told him about the super mutants.... ...

Ashur went over the security table and started looking at display panels and virtual maps.

"What the, is that William Chu, IN A TANK?!"

The video feeds confirmed a Chinese variation of a tank, armed to the teeth, strolling past the bridge, with a single platoon of troops.

"Damnit!!! I need a track on the frequency that tanks radio uses. Andrew, get me a Corvega, we're going to the bridge"

Ashur then watched as the tank entered the Train station, passing by and turning around proceeding towards raider territory.

"What about the train station guards!!!! Where are they??? Are they asleep! I need video feeds surrounding that tank. I want guardsmen following that tank. DO not shoot the chinese, just follow them. If they bust into raider territory, assist them. Andrew, go help William, I am getting the Corvega."

I nodded and I cursed to myself, I ran out the doors and I quickly made my way over to a guard with a radio, "You, I need you to broadcast that every single one of my squad members is to meet me near the train station! NOW, I don't care what the hell they're doing and tell everyone to be on high alert in case Raiders get through us." I quickly ran past the man towards the Train Station, I arrived within seconds and within another half a minute my whole squad filed in.

I quickly filled them in on why I'd called them over and they quickly understood, we ran after the destruction the tank had left. Soon enough, we found the tank getting shot at by a group of Raiders, the infantry platoon with them were hard pressed so we quickly stepped in. We ran in like mad-men, shooting like crazy and taking out all the Raiders, as soon as I was done shooting I pounded on the side of the tank and yelled, "William Chu!? We're here to support you! Don't get yourself killed you hear me!"

I quickly fell in with the infantry platoon surrounding the tank and so did my men, I yelled out again, "I hope you have the right idea William!" I then waited to see in which direction we'd be headed next.

"Ha! These raiders are no match for us! You didn't even have to come!" Right after he said those words a missile hit the tank. Its warhead failed to penetrate the tank but he sure felt the hit. "So tell me Andrew! Where is the raider base of operations, you know this place better than I do! Right now I'm just headed towards the direction with the most raiders" Suddenly a bullet shot his hat off again, "talk to you through the radio!'" William buttoned up the hatch and ordered the gunner to put a high explosive round into the nearest building with raiders. The poor infantry on the outside took a beating but he was safe in the tank as long as the raiders didn't get too close to put some explosives on the tank. Eventually he found himself on a rampage to the south and encountered large groups of what appeared to be large green men armed with heavy ordinance. "What the hell is that!"

I gasped, "Mutants! Holy [censored] that's a lot of them! OH [censored] GET YOUR ASS OUT OF THAT TANK ABOUT 20 OF THEM HAVE MISSLES!" I couldn't really see, but from the amount of launchers I saw I thought I'd guessed correctly. I gulped in a breath of air and I waited to see what would happen, the tank was idling, either they were abandoning or prepping for attack, I had no clue. The Mutants just stood there and stared at us, then I saw a kind of leader figure yell out to the others.

A couple of the launchers shot at the tank and others moved forwards to get better aims. I felt the impacts and I hit the deck, everything had become a great ringing in my ears. I watched as my vision clouded over and my sight seemed to fade, I got up slowly and I felt my vision return. All the rest of our infantry were on the ground in pain, within two seconds all but one of my squad were rising to their feet. The other one had been standing in front of the tank at the wrong time...

I cursed loudly, this was the man that had saved my life. I felt a tear streak down my face and I brought up my gattling laser, I started firing wildly at the Mutants, "How the [censored] do you like this you mother [censored]ers!!!???" I watched some of them fall underneath the fire and I didn't stop. I felt a white heat of rage fall over me and I didn't see who I was shooting anymore. I just hoped it was the Mutants still.

Ashur then moved towards the intercom.

" Damnit, get me a fix on their positions!"

Ashur proceeds down haven tower to the garage area. He grabs the keys to his Corvega and drives off into the streets toward the train station.

William felt the missiles hit hard but luckily they all hit the front. William had no choice but to fire his one and only nuclear shell. It fired a small nuke that was smaller than a tactical nuke was still strong enough to destroy a decent sized building. He weighed the consequences and decided that he had no choice. So William fired. The result was a intense flash of light and a large amount of dust kicked up in the air. The tank was buried in soot and ash, and William couldn't move the tank. Then infantry had retreated far enough but he was a bit too close in his tank...

Ashur drived into the chaos, his Corvega getting pummeled by hundreds of rounds.

"WILLIAM!!!!!!"

The shooting had stopped for the most part, William wondered why as he tried to get out of the tank. He noticed that the engine was on fire, soon it would ignite the ammo magazine and he would be dead. The hatch was jammed and no amount of bashing it would allow him to get through. In frustration he took out his sidearm and shot at it. The round ricocheted off and almost took is own head off. He looked out the periscope and saw nothing, only dirt. He hoped that his men could save him in time.

Matthias and Sydney were on the couch, listening to the radio and kissing. "I like the New Pitt, certainly better than Tenpenny." said Sydney in her smooth voice. Then Clay burst through the door, panting and clad in his combat armor, "William's in a tank, attacking the Raiders, along with Andrew and I think Ashur's on his way!" Matthias gave a loud sigh, "Sydney darling, I have to go help the other guards, you gonna be alright by yourself?" Sydney smiled and nodded.

With that, Matthias put on his leather armor, not bothering to put on the combat armor as he was in a hurry. He grabbed his ammo bag, pistol, and rifle, kissed Sydney goodbye and followed Clay down the streets. The two of them were moving at a breakneck pace, leaping and vaulting over ruined cars. They heard gunfire in the distance.

"This way, stay low, Clay." said Matthias, continuing to run. They got to a crest on a hill and saw the scene down below. "There's the tank, dear God they're getting pummeled , you see any Raiders?" asked Matthias, Clay was already going prone and setting his sights on a rocket-launcher wielding Raider. Down below, Pitt infantry were surrounding the tank and firing into the Raider-encroached hills.

Matthias went prone as well, "Here we go," Matthias took out his radio and set the frequency to the nearest one he could pick up, the tank's, "William, anyone friendly, you there? This is Matthias, I'm with Clay, what is your current situation? We are prepared to give sniper support."

I shook as the impact hit, I saw the destruction fly and I leapt towards the ground, no one else did. Before I knew it I felt a shockwave, William had let a nuclear shell out of his tank, I saw all of my men's legs break as they fell to the ground, screaming in pain. But, just after, they stopped as the real force hit them, as I lay there I felt the force go over me, then under me. I went flying back 4 metres and I hit a nearby lamp post, I felt dazed and my vision started to go white.

I shook myself and I tried to move, my legs were crippled, damaged dangerously, I limped over to the tank and I realised the hatch had been seriously damaged. I climbed the tank, it was painful but I made it to the top, I quickly yelled out, "William, get away from the hatch!" I pressed a button on my power armor and I didn't feel any difference.

But I knew there would be.

I brought my fist up and I slammed it into the hatch, it caved in, I raised my fist again and I brought it down once more. The whole hatch moved inwards and fell into the tank, I reached my hand in and I dragged William up, I had noticed the fires on the tank and I knew that unless we got out, we were both dead. After I'd brought William up I quickly switched the button off on my armor, I looked at the man and I nodded, I jumped off the tank.

After I hit the ground, the last remaining force in my legs gave way and I fell to the ground in pain, my legs were broken. I looked at William and I grimaced, "Get out of here William, quickly, before you get blown up. Don't even THINK about trying to drag me off, just get out of here, get to safety," I grumbled out before I felt a blinding flash of pain which destroyed half my view. I pushed out my arms and I started crawling away from the wreckage, I felt no one with me.

I looked back just in time for the explosion, it detonated with such force I went flying back a metre, into a wall, this time, head first. I heard a crunch in my neck and I gasped in pain, I'd read about people breaking their spine and never being able to walk again... I tried to find the energy to move, but I couldn't even test to see how badly hurt I was. I fell into the deep abyss of sleep.

Ashur, drived into the scene. He parked his Corvega.


Ashur grabs a audio speaker and begins to shout

" Men, get Andrew and the rest of those men out of their"

Ashur then climbed above the ruined tank and shouted to the raiders.

" So, you want a little fun! Here is a little fun!!!!"

Ashur, in a momentous occasion where he gained incredible rage, pulled out his tri-beam laser rifle, grabbed a raider by the neck, shot its face into a pink gore, and used his body as a shield while Ashur moved towards the super mutants, losing more and more of his meatshield. A supermutant tried to grab Ashur, but he grabbed the super mutants face, shoved it into his steel-clad knee and broke away chunks of the face.

" AND THEY ALL COME DOWN!!!!"

Within moments, artillery strikes from Pittsburgh begin hitting the buildings in and around the super mutants, blowing them apart with each shell.

"HAHAHA"

Ashur begins to laugh maniacally. He searches for any raiders, and finds a few raider women who are guarding their loot, afraid.

" Lets see you raid THIS"

Ashur pulls out his weapon and slaughters the entire group of raiders and rips their heads out, and uses them as trophies on his belt.

" Uhh, Andrew, get me a.... get me a........."

Ashur then walks to the street and falls down, passed out from all the energy he used.

William tried to make sense of the situation. He had attacked the raiders were in a large fight when the super mutants came. They must have been attracted to the fighting and decided to join in. Or maybe the super mutants were on another exodus, this time their target was the Pitt. He hoped that it would not be so. He grabbed a assault rifle from a dead soldier and fired some bursts in the general direction of the raiders to keep them pinned. He noticed that Andrew had not followed him out, he looked back to see him crawling away. Then the tank exploded causing Andrew to fly like a ragdoll right into a wall. "Andrew!" Then he saw lord Ashur himself fall after taking down a whole lot of raiders and mutants. "Matthias! I need you to provide covering fire while we have a covered retreat! William ran over to Andrew and started to drag him backwards while his men got Ashur and did the same. His men ran 20 ft backwards, stopped and provided covering fire while the other troops ran, then did it all over again. Slowly they pulled out of the battle. The mission had resulted in a bloodbath, yet it provided valuable intel. They now knew that the supermutants were in the area with large numbers as well as an entire raider army with numbers in the thousands. The Pitts darkest hour was yet to come. The citizens of the Pitt would have to stand strong against the coming storm lest everything they have worked for get washed away by the wave of darkness.

"[censored], you heard him Clay, hammer down!" and the two began firing every round they had into the raiders and Super Mutants. Every Raider and mutant Matthias and Clay dropped, two more replaced them. "Damnit William, why?" Matthias whispered to himself, emptying another clip into 3 Super Mutants, getting ready to tear apart some of the Pitt soldiers.

The group of Pitt guards had began their retreat, Clay and Matthias were too far away to give any better support than they were already doing, which wasn't much considering the amount of enemies they were facing. "We have to go in closer, Clay!" shouted Matthias over the din of gunfire, "What, are you bat-[censored] or something!" replied Clay, who was already on his second to last clip. Clay then looked back down at the group of guards, "Ah! [censored] it!" and soon the two were barreling down the hill.

They got down to an outcrop, as far as they could go. They laid down more fire, noticing now that Ashur and a few other soldiers were being dragged away from the fight by the still conscious soldiers, "Move your asses!" shouted Matthias, firing off more rounds. Hopefully the soldiers would notice the two snipers and make their way over to them, for the two were in a relatively defensible position.

William was on full retreat with raiders and super mutants on his tail. Luckily, they were killing each other now and they could afford to get away without anymore fighting. "Matthias and Clay! We're falling back to the Pitt" He hoped that they would be able to hold out long enough for everyone to through. He assigned 5 men to be the rearguard along with them and kept hurrying back to the city. Soon they reached the train station and the safety of the Pitt. "Get Ashur and Andrew in the infirmary! Go! Go! Go!" William took a radio set and called to Matthias "Hey! Good work, everyone's through now head back to the train station!"

Matthias heard the call, "Clay, lets move! We gotta get back to the train station." yelled Matthias as he slung his Assault rifle over his shoulder. Clay also began to run in the direction of Matthias. The two started running double time, jumping over rocks and not to mention avoiding gunfire. Soon enough the train station was in sight, "We're gonna make it buddy!" yelled Clay, "Yep, now keep moving!" The Raiders were far behind, but suddenly, Matthias felt a sharp pain in the back of his thigh.

"Ahh, son of a [censored]! I'm hit!" yelled Matthias, Clay stopped and ran back for Matthias. Matthias pulled out his .44 and shot three oncoming Raiders, "Drag me man, I'll cover." And so, Clay began dragging Matthias while he provided cover fire. Soon enough, the two reached the train station and the Raiders ran off as gunfire peppered them from other Pitt guards.

"Ah, good day kid, its been a good day. Listen, I need a hospital... I'm... feeling... " Matthias passed out. "We need a medic!" yelled Clay, and soon some medics had Matthias loaded on a stretcher, inbound for the infirmary. "Well, Sydney's gonna want to know about this." muttered Clay, after all, Sydney was Matthias girl, and she'd want to know.

"Soldier, give this recorded message to a woman in Apartment 324B, she's gonna nee it." said Clay to a nearby guard.

With all the leaders unconscious William decided that he would take temporary command until they were back. "OK, they're going to surround the city and cut off supply lines to the city. There's nothing we can do about it but we need to start some precautions. Get every piece of spare land and have people start growing food. We'll need it, if we hope to survive against the enemy. We need to protect the water purifier too! Move out!" William also sent out a message to China with a status report. Already they were pulling back to the city across the bridge.They needed more men to hold the city so William would ask Andrew to start conscription.

Ashur, arriving back to Haven, issues an emergency broadcast to all frequencies:


"Citizens of the pitt, our final trial is coming, the city walls and our valiant guards are the only thing between chaos and order. I ask you, people of the Pitt, will you not give your aid when the call comes? To answer the call for battle in a time of strife and war! Do tell me , will you FIGHT, or will you flight!!!!

As Ashur looked towards the horizon, he knew the raiders would never get inside, but deep down, he also knew that many people would die just defend the wall.


Ashur a few days later, proceeded to arrange a meeting with Andrew, Daniel, and every other person he knew well.

" I am glad to say that you people will be part of the Pitt expansion movement, I will be joining with you all, in an expansion to the outlying towns, to eradicate the raiders and mutants. I suggest you all pack your gear, we are off to war, say good bye to your loved ones, you will see them, have hope. But I ask you all that you join me in one last crusade"


Ashur then left the Haven control room and walked off into the horizon of the streets of the pitt. A legend that people would grow up to learn, as Ashur the rebuilder.
