OOC: Well, due to me losing my awesome RP sheet, I'll just give a quick rundown.

My name's Matthias, I have brown mid-back length dreads, tan skin, tribal tattoos and lean muscles.

I have a scoped Assault Rifle, a .44 magnum (unscoped) and a tribal knife. I'm a tribal as you may tell.

I wear tribal leather armor when not in my Pitt Guard uniform. My parents turned into Trogs and I escaped the Pitt to become a Tribal in the Capital Wasteland, became a tribal preacher and then went back into the Pitt and became a guard to Ashur. I'll post in a minute. Oh, and Enclave Radio already gave me the all clear, we had some PM's sent back and forth.

I looked around me at everyone else and I quickly sculled my fourth beer. I started to feel very drunk, but that was life, I looked at the others and I shook my head, I was still wearing my power armor, for decorationa and protection. I looked at everyone else, then I raised my voice, "Friends! Citizens of the great city of Pittsburgh! I wish to say something, to make a toast!" Everyone quiets down and I clear my throat, I stand on top of the table I was drinking at.

I raise my voice, "Everyone here, who's made their own contribution to make this town what it is, I think you all deserve something, you've all tried and tried to do your hardest to make this city what it is now. For that, I'm going to buy each and every one of you a drink! And on top of that, I want to thank Lord Ashur, who's kept this city together during it's time of crisis! And on top of THAT, I want to thank the Chinese for their support! Bartender! Everyone gets one free drink! I'm paying for it!"

I get down and I sit back in my chair, I'm greeted with applause and I grin, life can't get better than this.

Ashur then finished an entire still of beer. After that he proceeds to watch the party go on.

I walked in, nice party, right now everyone seemed to be listening to some sort of Chinese Anthem. I had my regular attire on for this occasion, as the combat armor was getting tight on me. I sat on a stool and ordered a drink, brandy, just the way I liked it.

I sat and listened as the music played on. I noticed some of my fellow Guardsmen as well. I ordered two more drinks, and soon I was feeling that familiar inebriated feeling. I wanted to hear Lord Ashur's thoughts on the whole matter of Chinese residents coming into The Pitt. I don't think they knew about the other half of the hellhole that wasn't rebuilt. Had they known, I don't think the Chinese would have come.

William was enjoying the festivities but he was anxious to get down to work. he went over to the security chief Andrew and asked him "What security precautions have been taken to keep the city safe while most of the guards are drunk?" He looked around and called to 5 of his men and said to Andrew "if you don't mind my own men will also help in keeping the city safe." William needed a break from all the partying and went out over to the bridge to look at the wasteland. It reminded him that while the world was on its way back to prosperity, the job wasn't done yet.

I chased after William, I was out of breath, and drunk, but eventually I caught up to him on the bridge, "William, really, you should take a break... Theirs no reason to give up a time of fun for work, I have more than enough guards keeping an eye on every entrance and exit. Their hiding in the dark and not giving any quarter, really, William, you don't NEED to do this..." I stopped and I grinned, "But if your so hell bent on it, then go ahead, I'll stick with you."

I sat in a chair that was nearby and I chuckled, how did their always seem to be a chair when I wanted to sit down? I laughed and I looked at William, "Your very determined aren't you soldier? You know what... I think... Hmmm, soldier, how would you like to be a part of my squad? I understand your the head of your own, but I know your leading skills, you can be the Squad Officer if you'd like that? I need a good second in command, someone who can get [censored] done."

I chuckled and I looked him in the eye, "Although, I might seem joking, but I am serious, what do you say William?"

"You know officially my job isn't to be in direct combat. I usually handle things on a larger scale rather than getting bogged up in a fight down on ground level. For instance I would help manage troops and logistics in order to make joint-operations easier for everyone. So while your offer is tempting sometimes we need to look at the bigger picture. No I can't help you I have too many things to keep to keep track of as it is. I have another plane with 50 Chinese citizens coming into the Pitt tomorrow and I have to manage resources to create a Chinese embassy here. Not to mention I'm in command of 3 PLA squads here in the wasteland." William then smiled and said 'I think we'll still be seeing plenty of each other in the coming weeks. As liaison officer I also have to handle many operations that includes cooperation between China and the Pitt." William was about to finish his patrol when suddenly his cap just flew off. "What was that?" He bent down to pick it up when he heard a gust of wind and a CRACK! as a bullet hit the wall. "Get down!" He tackled Andrew down and tried to see what was happening.

William crawled over to some cover and looked outward. His suspicions were confirmed, raiders! Even worse, they had found an old sewage tunnel that was covered by debris and gave them a direct access into the Pitt. Immediately some broke off into small raiding parties to burn and pillage. Others started to head towards the party, but at least 10 of them were aiming on killing him. I guess the Raiders just couldn't pass up the chance to cause some problems for the city. Even worse was the fact that they were all alone. The raiders numbered only around 50 but with the advantage of surprise on their side they could cause some real damage before running away with precious loot. William said to Andrew "on three we shoot," William took out his pistol, "1," the raiders stated spraying them with a hail of bullets,"2" William flicked the safety off, "3!" William jumped up and fired.

Gunshots? thought Matthias. He didn't have his combat armor on at the time, just the Tribal leather armor he stored back at his room, and all he had as a weapon was his loaded .44 mag. He walked over to Ashur, "Sir, I heard gunfire, I'd like to go and investigate if you'd permit it. Nice party by the way."

just when i downed my 5th glass of brandy on the rocks i looked out the window to see out the window even more raiders i grabbed my 44.magnum out of my overcoat and gripped it steadily and told ashur about this raider invasion

"What, raiders, get the city sirens on and alert every public building into lockdown. Send every guard to street sweep the area. Get those raiders now. And I want the engineering department to flood the sewers NOW!!!"

William killed two raiders with well placed shots to the head but the rest opened fire and William made a desperate dive to the ground.to avoid it. Suddenly, William heard yells and gunshots, finally ! The people of the Pitt were rallying against the raiders with great hate as they ruined the party. However the raiders got what they wanted, they struck fear into the residents of the Pitt. No where is safe, not even the Pitt. However, it wasn't going to happen on his watch. William let them get closer then grabbed one of the and took him as a human shield. He started backpedaling as they poured bullets into him, it held just barely by the time he made it to a safe distance and started running. The battle would be won soon, however it may take some time as half of the towns guards were drunk. William looked around for Andrew but couldn't find him. Hopefully he made it out alive. William kept moving until he reached Lord Ashur, not stopping for anything.

as i was walking i was hit on the head with a lead pipe i woke up in an alley next to a dead guard. No Ammo. I put on the combat armor walked into a store it was empty i took some ammo. there was a group of raiders behind me with rifles fully loaded i turned around and saw one of the raiders with a grenade after the carnage i heard a voice "im impressed" it was ashur!

Ashur headed towards the streets and started running towards the bridge. The guards had finally woken up and started making up a roadblock. The sewers were flooded and hundreds of gallons of filthy water came out along with any raiders hoping to get inside the city walls. The city was not damaged, just a few broken windows and scared people. Ashur wanted to rebuild the outlying towns, but he could'nt if the raiders were going to attack constantly.


Ashur opend up on a nearby telephone and dialed the signal William Chu had on his military radio.

" William, I need you to finish off the raiders at your location, there won't be any more raiders now that we flooded the sewers. Get ready, I am having a few squads headed your way"
