To the powers that be

One dear to me uses Xbox one. He is playing Fallout 4. :)

He is telling me that some prompts flash across the screen too fast for Him to read.

There is also no explanation on the Crafting benches he has found .. None that He sees anyway.

That is all.

For crafting benches tell him to look in the save menu under help. It explains most everything in there.

The prompts usually mean a settlement is being hosed.

They'll be fine...

I've seen those pop-ups on the PC also and I get about most of them about half read before their gone. Like how to turn your head while in the CC. Pops up but I missed it. Had to ask here to learn how.

Wow, that comment got taken down fast (someone else's inflammatory comment).

Anyways, the item modding process/benches seem pretty intuitive and fluid to me, you just gotta make sure you have the material and perk requirements. I'm guessing this is about the settlement benches, yes? I had a major issue there too. It's not at all intuitive. I was able to pull up the workshop menu, but then the game doesn't prompt you at all on how to select categories or show you want buttons do like in every other interface ( "Enter) Confirm" "Tab) Cancel" ) . I had to press almost every single button on my keyboard to figure it out. On PC, it was the activate/interact button "E".

Well he said there was nothing there to say "What" or "Why" or "How" it's just there.. Almost like a static..

No explanation at all.

Exactly, has nothing to do with console vs PC either as I'm playing on PC and got the same feeling. There was little to no explanation and the game didn't if give you a "[x] Select, [y] Go back" prompt. I only figured it out by pressing all the buttons I have binded.

-Nodding-
I will suggest to Him to look at the help menu, as Bigfatdan suggested. I can't say more. My copy won't be here for a couple of weeks.

That was painted for me by an avatar designer some time ago. I don't recall where the image originally came from. Thank you :)
