The Primm Convention

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 6:35 pm

Welcome to the Primm Convention!

It has been a few months since the "Tops Convention" took place, and longer since the "Nellis Convention" took place. NCR and Mr. House are in a state where war is a possibility, and this meeting has been called to take drastic action before a war begins and casualties occur.

"I have gathered the ambassadors of the many settlements, nations, and groups of the mojave and surrounding areas to discuss and resolve this matter."

SCENARIO: Since the Tops convention,
Primm: Now has Nightkin security and two working casinos. It is gaining money fast, and becoming a prosperous town.
Novac-Nipton: Is now one group because of Novac's efforts to recreate Nipton. The nipton gas station, also under control of Novac-Nipton, along with owning two settlements, is causing its citizens to prosper. Nipton has now become a permanent caravan hub.
Enclave: Now in possession of ED-E.
NCR: Finding itself in a tight situation between tensions in the Mojave, and the recent arguments and disagreements with Mr. House
Brotherhood: Now in a trading and occupancy relationship with Novac-Nipton.
House: Well, he still doesn't like the brotherhood. That's for sure. He is making every effort possible to not plunge into full-scale war with NCR
State of Utobitha: Repaired and in good condition because of help from Primm and Novac-Nipton.
Jacobstown: Granted its wish, and is left alone by mercenaries.
Van Graffs: Still being fought over by NCR and Legion
Gun Runners: Still supplying NCR with good quality weapons, however under the close watch of house.
The Jackal and Viper Gangs: Hunted down and killed.
(If there are any other changes I missed, feel free to let me know)

Primm: bethesdalover123
Novac-Nipton: Sebor13
State of Utobitha: The Lobotomite
Mr. House: Gingy
Legion: Meghan
NCR: FalloutBob
Followers of the Apocalypse: Daniels
The Kings: Elvis
Enclave Remnants: Lt. Andronicus
Goodsprings: Cow500
Westside: Intact Garden Gnome
The Van Graffs: winawer
The Crimson Caravan: BananaKiller
Brotherhood of Steel Remnants: Roughnecks
Jacobstown: Ouchobrain
Boomers: flamedarkfire
Gun Runners: I was out of name ideas

If you took part in the Nellis and/or Tops convention, and wish to take the place of the same group as you did before, either friend and message me, or reply to this thread with the name of your ambassador and which faction you wanted to support. The convention will not begin until most groups are filled with ambassadors.

If I forgot a group, or you wanted to include one that I didn't want to list, simply let me know and I will add it to the list.

Cheers.

Novac-Nipton has thrived since the Tops Convention, Nipton has become a major trading hub and the Brotherhood of Steel remnants lived where planned (although not as a fighting force or a variant of the actual BoS).

They still maintained their close ties to Primm and the State of Utobitha.

Marcus Draco, Novac-Nipton Represenative
Good evening and welcome back.

Tonight we are here to discuss all issues in the Mojave, most importantly the possibility of war between the NCR and House.

*smiles evil*

Let the games begin.

Not racing to start the convention right this minute. Take your time. I need a majority of the faction slots to be filled before we even really begin.

No it hasn't been locked yet, besides it would move onto Tops Convention part 2, not a whole new convention right in the middle of things.

I request this thread be disregarded.

Putting this convention on hold, I will keep in mind anyone who wants to represent a faction, and will let you know later if we decide to follow through.

"Convention", in this instance, meaning ambassadors getting together to discuss topics. Disregard the post until a more appropriate time for the convention.

I wish to represent the legion. I am a very let me say... zealous crusader of mighty Caesar.

Yes he has, but Caesar still rules.

And you cannot demand anything, Meghan might get the spot due to her spot in the Convention before this.

If I loose the spot of legion representative then I request great khans.
If in chance I get the spot of great khan representative. Is this long enough after the battle of hoover damn where the great khans take large portions of land in Wyoming?

Yeah they did, as a result they aren't in the meetings. From what I understand there aren't any spots open as of now although I'm sure if you ask around you can get one. O and of course I'll take the NCR spot.

Request spots as you please, but the convention will not start until the Tops convention has reached an end.

Crap, when I was reviewing the list I missed that and the Fiend Remnants of people who are unlikely to impossible to be there.

Maybe the Great Khans have sent a representative back to the Mojave when they heard of the conventions from the Follower's of the Apocalypse.

Fiends are gone. I just thought having a fiend or two would be interesting.

EDIT: I am assuming anyone from the past thread will hold the same position. Spots will open up later on most likely due to inactivity.

But they were a group of drug addict psychos, there wouldn't be any that would go to a meeting between factions.

I feel the same way about the Khans. They have nothing offer or as much to offer as the east coast BOS. It's probably best if things just stay the way they are. Who wants to ruin the flow?

ATM, Great Khans have been removed, and I am assuming everyone from the last thread will have a spot at the same position. The only ones I have open right now are crimson caravan and Gun runners. I can't guarantee other spots will open due to inactivity but i'm guessing there will be.

The only spot we have open as of now is the Crimson Caravan.

Remember, this thread will only really start after the Tops Convention has entirely concluded.
