The Prince of Order

So yea whatever happened to that guy? In Shivering Isles you learn that Sheogorath was actually Jyggalag, the Daedric Prince of Order, who was basically becoming the most powerful Daedra so was cursed and made into Sheogorath the Prince of Madness, but in SI you release Jyggalag. Yet in Skyrim he's never mentioned. Is Jyggalag forever lost in obscurity? I believe I read that their are other Daedra Princes that are only mentioned offhand in books etc. [I think it was a..Daggerfall book that mentions a Odin like Daedra, rides a horse, Prince of War or something] so is that the road Jyg is now on? Jyggalag was slowly taking over the Daedric Realm before he was cursed and upon his release he claims he will renew that conquest. To me that seems pretty major and I get the feeling Bethesda just swept him under the carpet after SI.

Also I see on here alot that the CoC is Sheogorath in Skyrim, was that ever officially stated by Bethesda or a developer? Or was it just mutually agreed upon lore by this forum?

He was released and has no realm, so he can't interact with the mortal plane even if he wanted to.

No it wasnt stated that the COC is Sheo, but unless som, ething happened in the past 250 years to change it, then the COC is Sheo just as he was at the end of SI

It's heavily implied that Sheogorath in Skyrim is COC, judging from the words he spouted out when we were tea partying with him. But you can interpret this differently if you want.

But it's hard to look at it differently when the Prince of Order himself said you'll grow into your station as the Mad God, and even says you're Sheogorath at the end of Shivering Isles.

So yes, Bethesda seems to like rubbing this implication in the face.

The only words we get from Beth on this is from Sheogorath's voice actor, Wes Johnson. He agreed on this implication in some expo (search it on youtube), but then he's a voice actor, but he does know his lore. So yeah. It's still your choice how you see it.

No it's Ebonarm, him being a Daedra is the wrong part.
