‘To the Princes’ - (A Bedtime Ward For Children)
To Clavicus, we say, “No, thank you.”.
To Dagon, we say, “Be gone!”.
To Boethiah, we say, “Mercy is strength.”
To Namira, we say, “Please, bathe.”.
To Mephala, we say, “Speak plainly.”.
To Malacath, we say, “Calm hearts make clear minds.”.
To Hircine, we say, “Down, boy!”.
To Azura, we say, “Come out in the day.”.
To Nocturnal, we repeat the same phrase.
To Meridia, we say, “The sun is our light. You are a mere reflection.”
To Vaermina, we say, “Restless nights do not fright.”.
Sheogorath, we stare down sternly.
To Peryite, we say, "Keep thee away.".
And to Molag Bal, we say, “By the Divines, I am free. Through them, that way, I shall stay.”.

I wanted to try something a little different, so I got to thinking about what kind of nursery rhymes and bedtime 'prayers' might exist in the Elder Scrolls universe. I thought that, in the aftermath of the world-shaking Oblivion Crisis, sayings and rhymes which aimed to teach children of the dangers of communicating with daedra might be quite popular with citizens of the Empire (now in flux). So, I set about composing this little ditty. It's meant to be a bit of silly fun (cos how else are you supposed to engage children?!), but let me know what you guys think.
Edit: Unacceptable!!!!
