While I may agree with many of Security's points, the problem with their agenda is that the Ark can't last forever, and everyone is doomed if they stay on the Ark.

And no, the Arc canot last forever, but its the best bet for humanitys survival, would you rather go on land that is infertile, unable to produce food, having to start over, with savage humans all around? The Arc cannot last forever, yes, but it also has important things such as water treatment facilitys, power plants, housing, and all of the such. The only way i see things working out, if EVERYONE on the Arc unites together, takes up arms, moves the Arc to land, and take it over. They would have a very powerfull military force, and could use what is on the Arc to support a new nation on land.

The thing is, Security made it pretty clear that they have no intention of going to land.

The resistance failed to tell them the main reason the Ark will fail though. Rather than tell the security about the main issue, chen decides to keep it to himself because it would make him look bad. The Founders were some of the best scientists and engineers in the world before the world fell apart. Rather than allowing them to help brainstorm or use the information to try to sway them, they keep it a secret and start a war.

With what the founders/security know, the Ark is in bad shape, but can be repaired as things break, as they have done for decades.

Yeah im getting confused as how Ark/Arc is spelt. i spell it ARK and i see people spelling it ARC.

im just going with ARK again.
