I found it at the Dino Bite Shop in Novac in the closet behind the register. Make sure you use your light from you Pip-Boy

It's just in the closet behind him. Kill him or use a stealthboy and pickpocket him.

Just pick the lock. It was an Easy pick, IIRC. Be careful if you're already pretty rad sick, as there are radioactive things in there

18 damage, wooo. The .357, 9mm, etc, are all signifigantly more powerful.

Thanks for staying positive wraithwatch. Some of us aren't latecomers to the franchise and have been playing Fallout since 1997. For us, the .223 (or That Gun as its referred to in this game) is about much much more than DAM or DPS rating. Just sayin

That Gun was pretty disappointing. It's too small and it doesn't even sound very powerful. I know that the Bladerunner gun that the .223 Pistol was based on wasn't very big but that gun looked like it was hefty and made of high quality material. That Gun looked cheap and way too worn.

I hope they do justice to the Gauss Pistol if they ever bring it back in a DLC.

i stole it in the Dino shop, i didn't have 996 caps on me, i found it quite useful and nice (it's great)

This gun is better than any other early game gun. Don't listen to the haters.

I also thought it looked futuristic and awesome, I love the sound it makes after you load it.

Makes me wish I could get it in FO3 (console owner) to ~~kill~~ retire that escaped replicant.
